oh, hey insta. it’s been awhile. this beautiful couple had their wedding canceled due to covid. they eventually ended up moving out of state but that didn’t stop them from coming back to relive their day. congratulations linden & alex!

can i tell you a secret? i love ending my portrait sessions(or portrait time during a wedding day) with a silly dance off. if it were up to me, that’s probably all i would post!

a couple of years ago, i read this quote, “stop trying to be someone else’s perfect.” i was at the point in my photography business where everything was going really well but i was on the brink of burn out. i took a social media break for a year and decided that i was going to post whatever came to my mind from then on. i wasn’t going to worry about how my feed looked and if everything looked cohesive. i was going to share photos because i believe in love and joyous moments. so, if you’re feeling unfulfilled today and are having a major case of imposter syndrome, just stop. you are you and that’s more than enough!

every morning, i ask alexa what national holiday it is and today is national empanada day! i’m always craving a good hearty empanada! i unfortunately don’t have all of the ingredients to make my favorite potato empanada recipe but i’ll keep you posted this weekend when we get our grocery delivery! what flavor of empanada is your favorite?
