A & A skipped the cake and rolled in an ice cream cart instead🍦 While wedding cake may be traditional, dessert is the perfect place to add a personal touch that reflects you as a couple!

Wakefield Event is beyond grateful to have won 2nd Place in Colorado Springs Gazette's Best of Wedding Planners!

I’m truly honored and humbled to be recognized among so many incredibly talented professionals in this industry. Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of working with the most inspiring clients and amazing vendors—your trust, creativity, and support mean the world to me.

Being celebrated alongside people I admire so deeply feels absolutely surreal. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Now bring on the 2025 Wedding Season!

This moment shouldn’t be rushed!!

Allow time in your timeline for a private moment to sign the marriage license, bustle your dress, and soak it all in with your SPOUSE! The day is full of events, but don’t forget to include time to slow down and be present in the moment.

Pro Tip: Have your planner arrange for a plate of appetizers and your favorite cocktail to be delivered to your private moment.

As a decor enthusiast, I am always looking for ways to repurpose florals so clients can get the most bang for their buck! Would you believe me if I told you these cake florals were simply two bridesmaids’ bouquets tucked under the cake stand to give a semi-circle appearance? No extra money spent, and yet so much impact 🙌🏼
