I have just realized that I have not given all of the people on this FB page an update. I closed the Ice Carving business in December 2014 to become partners with SGM (r) Dave Turcotte. Our company, AK Food Consultants, focuses on food service training to the Military and colleges. We have several programs, however our primary focus is back to scratch cookery training with the military. We were hired to train the Hawaii Culinary Arts Team for the 40th Annual Military Culinary Competition. We are pleased to announce that the team we trained won the overall Culinary Team of the Year, 15 Gold, 9 Silver, 2 Bronze and seven major trophies. I had the great pleasure to carve a Harley Fat Boy with CW4 Lein and SFC Perry from the Hawaii Ice Carving Team. We did this as demonstration for the 40th Annual Culinary Arts Competition. I even made a key out of ice and presented to the one of the spectators.
