✨🏰 Once Upon a Time… a Night to Remember 🏰✨

This past weekend, The Lighthouse at Leedstown was transformed into a magical fairytale setting for the Oak Grove Christian Academy Spring Formal — and what an incredible night it was! 💫

With a “Once Upon a Time…” theme, the evening was filled with magic, elegance, and a fairytale atmosphere that brought the entire venue to life. From the beautiful décor to the excitement and joy of the students, it was a night to remember. 👑

Thank you to Oak Grove Christian Academy for choosing us to be part of such a memorable evening!

🌸🐣 We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! 🐣🌸

Easter has always been one of the most special times of the year for us here at The Lighthouse at Leedstown. It’s more than just a day — it’s a full weekend of gathering, laughter, and time spent with the people who mean the most.

Family and friends come from all over to be together, and this year was no different. From kicking things off Friday with golf, to a big dinner with over 50 loved ones, to a full day of pizza-making and memories on Saturday (over 100 of us!), and ending with a traditional Easter meal on Sunday — our hearts (and tables!) were full all weekend long. 💛

Moments like these are exactly why this place means so much to us. Whether it’s gathered around a table, watching the sunset over the Rappahannock River, or enjoying a quiet, starry night — it’s all about being together.

We love being able to share this space with others so they can create their own meaningful memories here.

📍 Calling on Local History!

As we continue building The Lighthouse at Leedstown into a place for gathering and celebrating, we would love to honor the history of this property and the surrounding area.

We’re especially interested in learning more about the Tomato Factory that once operated along the Rappahannock River here in Leedstown, Virginia.

🍅 Did you or a family member ever work there?
📸 Do you have any photos or memories of the factory?
📖 Do you remember stories about what it was like?

After the factory closed, the property became a testing facility operated by Wendy’s father, and while we have information from that time, we would love to incorporate the full history of this special place as we host events here.

We had the privilege of hosting another event for Patricia Fisher Rose and her family. They always do an amazing job of decorating and are just a joy to hang out with for the day. Happy 70th Patricia Cunningham Combs, you sure have a beautiful family and your love for them shines bright through all those beautiful grand and great grandkids!
