I often hear brides say that they “don’t need an outside planner” because their venue has a day of coordinator, and unfortunately, some brides find out it's not true when it's too late. The day of. coordinator is there to manage the services being provided by the venue and the services they will provide are very different from those that we provide. A good day of coordinator will assist you with all you need on your special wedding day. Your venue coordinator will not call your vendors to verify anything the week before the wedding, find you vendors that meet your budget, uncover any mistakes or help you to correct difficult issues with vendors on your wedding day. These venue coordinators are great but typically they leave after dinner service. It’s important to understand what they will and won’t do for you, so you can be properly prepared for your big day!
