The Stickley Family Farms Farm Stand is stocked up!

Right now we've got:

🥚 Farm fresh eggs — $2/dozen or $3/18 count
🥒 Zucchini — 2 for $1
🌶️ Peppers — 2 for $1
🪵 Handmade wood items — various prices

The stand is self-serve. Drop your payment in the pay box, or scan the QR code if you'd rather pay by card.

And if you don't make it over until later, no problem — the stand is lit up at night. Just remember to smile for the camera. 🙂

Everything is put out as we have it, so it's all while supplies last.

🥚👽 WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE THEY GROWING AT STICKLEY FAMILY FARMS?!

It looks a little like an alien egg… but it’s actually a Blue Hubbard Squash! 🎃

These giant, blue-gray squash can grow to an impressive size, and the best part is what’s inside. Blue Hubbards have rich, sweet orange flesh that makes them fantastic for baking, soups, pies, and all kinds of fall recipes.

Our family was introduced to Hubbard squash after visiting Frankenmuth and enjoying Dorothy Zehnder’s delicious Hubbard squash recipes. We liked it so much that we decided:

So this year, we are! 🌱

The squash in the photo is a sneak preview of what we're growing for Stickley Family Farms this fall. Ours are still growing, and we're hoping to have some BIG, beautiful Blue Hubbards ready for harvest this season.

Many of our campers and guests ask for recommendations when visiting or staying at Stickley Family Farms! Our village just a mile away has some of the best breakfast, pizza, and bars you'll find anywhere! But for those wanting to venture out just a little bit, Kingbird and The Ordinary is a short hop away in Three Rivers, Michigan. Featuring an upscale brunch and dinner menu, it is one of our favorites, and quickly becoming a major regional upscale dining destination! Check it out when in the area!

Our self-serve Farm Stand is stocked with:
🥚 Farm-fresh eggs – just $3 per 18-count carton
🥒 Fresh zucchini
🫑 Garden peppers (while they last)
🪵 Handmade wood gifts crafted from trees grown right here on the farm
🌻 Rustic sunflower planters and other unique farm-made items

It's just a quick stop on your way out of Colon and a fun way to take a little piece of the community home with you.
