Take Your Acting to the Next Level with The Studio!

Designed for experienced 6th–12th graders, The Studio is an audition-only class at Main Street Spotlight Conservatory for performers ready to push past the basics. Training week after week as a resident acting company, students will dive into advanced script analysis and character building while starring in 3 mainstage productions every year! Classes meet Mondays from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM under the direction of Megan James. Megan brings decades of performance, music, and directing experience, alongside a background as a foster parent and youth pastor. She is dedicated to creating an encouraging, high-level space where young actors can sharpen their craft, build confidence, and form lasting friendships!

Is your 5th–12th grader ready to take their performance to the next level? Stagecraft at Main Street Spotlight Conservatory offers the ultimate environment for students to build strong performance fundamentals, grow stage confidence, and shine! Whether your actor is brand new to theatre or honing specific skills to prepare for our advanced Studio program, Stagecraft provides the perfect space to learn and grow.
Classes run every Tuesday from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM under the direction of instructor/owner Leanne Cook. Leanne brings 30 years of theatrical experience to our conservatory, with extensive training in film, television, and theater from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), alongside a degree in elementary education. Having performed in everything from Shakespeare to musical theater, this mom of three is passionate about fostering a supportive environment where every young performer can build confidence and hone their craft.

Join Us for Our "Raise the Roof" Fundraiser!
We’re raising money to help replace our roof, and we need your help to make our fundraiser a success! Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 27th, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
We are looking for hands and talents of all kinds! Whether you want to:
Perform on stage (10-15min sets)
Donate items or funds
Help run sound and tech
Help serve food
Pitch in with anything and everything else!
If you’d like to volunteer on the event day, setup starts at 12:00 PM.

EXCITING NEWS FOR YOUTH ACTORS!
We are thrilled to officially introduce the Main Street Spotlight Conservatory! Our brand-new after-school theatre training program designed to help students grow their confidence, hone their craft, and shine on stage!
Whether your performer is just building their foundation or ready for advanced scene study, we have a path for them:
STAGE CRAFT (Foundational Acting & Skill Building)
Tuesdays | 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
STUDIO (Advanced Acting & Performance Intensive, Audition required!)
Mondays | 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Both programs operate on a quarterly commitment and culminate in a live performance right on the Herron's Crown Theater stage!
