If we haven’t met yet — hi, I’m so glad you found your way here.

For over a decade, I had the honor of helping families raise their little ones as a nanny and caregiver. These days, I’m in my full Aunt Jessi Era — loving on my own family’s babies while continuing to pour into children, parents, and caregivers in this beautiful community.

Around here, I teach yoga and mindfulness to kids in ways that feel playful and real. I build confident, prepared sitters through my Babysitter Training Course. And I hold space for parents through Parent Pep Talks — because you were never meant to do this alone.

This little corner of the internet is your reminder to breathe deeper, move your body, and find magic in the everyday moments with your kids.

Welcome to our Jessi’s Jam Fam ✨

Tell me in the comments — are you here as a
parent, caregiver, sitter, auntie, or teacher? I’d love to know👇

As I stretch into this next season — literally and figuratively — I’m reflecting on over a decade of serving families in our community. 🌞🌿

Whether we connected through swim lessons, nannying, babysitting, event care, yoga, mindfulness, mobility, aqua yoga, parenting support, or caregiver mentorship — you’ve been part of my journey in ways that matter deeply to me.

If my work has impacted you or your family, I would be so grateful to hear your experience. Your words help guide this next chapter and help other families find support that feels aligned and safe.

✨ “It’s tiiiiiime!” — Mariah said it best.

Parents & caregivers… push those toys to the side, roll out your mat, toss your hair in a ponytail, and let’s get that body moving. 🧘‍♀️💫

Mobility isn’t just for you — it helps you show up stronger, calmer, and more present for the little ones who depend on you. When you move better, you care better.

Start where you are.

You don’t have to do it all — just begin with one deep breath.

Try this: Gentle standing twist — let your arms swing side to side. Add a few standing cat cows, a few neck rolls and maybe even some shoulder rolls. You can do this anywhere, even (& especially) in the shower!

Movement is medicine for caregivers. Do it by yourself, do it with your littles — just carve out 10 minutes and DO IT!

You deserve it.

Mindset Check: Am I rushing through the moments I could be breathing through?

✨ Helping families thrive — one breath, one stretch, one playful pause at a time ✨

👋🏼 I’m Jessi — a career nanny of 15 years turned family fitness enthusiast, mindfulness mentor, and household supporter. I currently work hands-on with multiple families, helping them create calm, connection, and rhythm in their daily lives.

💻 I’m building online yoga & mindfulness programs for parents, caregivers, and kids — teaching simple tools for movement, self regulation, and presence into their everyday.
🧘‍♀️ At the end of this month, I’ll be teaching yoga + mobility workshops at Nanny Camp, giving fellow caregivers the resources to care for themselves, too.
✨ And through it all, I’m helping families find the magic in the mundane — and I’ll be sharing tips on here so you can, too.

Let’s raise the next generation — and ourselves — with intention, joy, and really big breaths.

Today at the library, a 6-year-old and an almost 2-year-old reminded me that play has no age limit 💫

From turning “duck poop” into lava (true creativity 🤣) to scavenger hunting between the bookshelves, these two explored, shared, colored, made new friends, and reminded me what makes mixed-age play so special:
✨ Little ones learn by watching, copying, and giggling along
✨ Big kids step into leadership, practicing empathy and patience
✨ Everyone builds social skills, imagination, and connection

All in a morning’s play💛

Remember when I was hosting Stretch and Shine on Zoom?

I practiced guiding parents and caregivers through 30 minute Mindful Movement Sessions that taught them tools to regulate their emotions and learn how to check in with themselves.

I loved helping caregivers find relief by simply adding purpose into their everyday play.

As a byproduct, the children in their care absorbed their new practices and started playing along!

I am so honored to be teaching this at Nanny Con this April, hosted by !

Have you heard about it?!

When I introduce myself to new families at my Imagination Yoga classes, I always suggest that the adults allow their inner child to come out and play.

And most times, they respond with an uncomfortable giggle.

But when they start participating and playing along (whether their child is engaged in that moment or not) the entire vibe of the class is more fun!

Imagination Yoga classes are created with the intention that they will start off chaotic - to meet your young child RIGHT WHERE THEY ARE AT!

Together we explore until we find our calm.

Parents, children are much more likely to DO WHAT YOU DO rather than do what you ask them to do.

Keep that gem in your pocket until the next time you’re trying to get their attention. The more fun you have when you play, the more connected they will want to be!

Thank you to the families who decided to join me over at for this new Imagination Yoga Series!

Guests are welcome!

If you are interested in joining this class or other Family Fitness Classes send me a message and I’ll get you in!

Director of Family Fitness✨

A title I have been working really hard on designing over the last 6 months, since I started working at Royal Fitness.

Last year I spent months obtaining permits, finding places to host my classes and marketing those classes all on my own - all while keeping myself inspired and sane!🙃

Honestly, when I started teaching children’s yoga I couldn’t have dreamed of the position I am in today.

In June I became a professional mermaid and started teaching children’s swim lessons.

By October I was hosting my very own children’s yoga programs.

Now I am proud to announce that I just became the Director of Family Fitness!

Along with my team, we will be creating a variety of family fitness classes for all age groups and ability levels. We are also redesigning the childcare center to make it a soft play area. Our goal for this space is to invite children to explore their senses while developing fine and gross motor skills. We will also be offering reliable childcare so parents can carve out the time they desire for themselves, while knowing that their children are safe and having fun.

I couldn’t be more grateful for my Royal Fit Family for supporting my wild ideas, motivating me when I need the push and holding me accountable as I continue to put in the work towards my goals.

From the owners, to the directors, to our marketing team, our childcare workers and all of the instructors who I now call friends- I find myself surrounded by love and inspired to create!

My goal is to help your family find a fitness routine that feels good and helps create some fun!

If you are looking to join my yoga programs, swim lessons or any other family fitness programs, you will find me a Royal Fitness in Barrington - my new home! 💙
