Hello Play Oasis & STST Families,
This is Deborah Horan, owner of Play Oasis and Straight Talk Speech Therapy. I want to share a quick update: we will be releasing details about our transition to our new location within the next 2 weeks. In addition, we will be personally reaching out to all families with active memberships this week.
I sincerely apologize for the delay and any lapse in communication. Our original plan was to sign a new lease at our current location. However, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we had to make the difficult decision not to move forward with that lease and instead relocate to an interim location.
While this was never our intention—to abruptly and temporarily close two full-time businesses for two+ weeks—we believe this decision is ultimately in the best interest of the families we serve. During this time, we have continued covering expenses such as rent, utilities, payroll, taxes, and internet, all while coordinating the move, securing an interim space, and negotiating a new lease.
As we reopen, Play Oasis will operate on a smaller scale in our temporary space. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we’ll be offering time slots with limited capacity, which families can sign up for in advance. More details coming soon!
We truly appreciate the love, patience, and support from our loyal guests, the friends we've made, and this incredible community. Thank you for sticking with us.
