I have married over a dozen couples who thought that simply possessing the marriage license meant that they were married. One couple had theirs for over 3 years! Thankfully, marriage licenses do not have an expiration date in the state of Ga. Your marriage license has to be signed and dated by an officiant in order to solemnize your marriage. The officiant can be a minister or other religious figure, a judge or justice of the peace. ALWAYS consult your local court for up-to-date information.

I remember the day I took this picture. I didn't show her face in that photo because I was enjoying keeping the best thing that has EVER happened to me a secret. Those closest to me had already met her or knew what she looked like. Nearly 11 years later, here we are - even more in love, having more fun, and continuing to create the life we want for us. You make me laugh harder than anyone else ever has. And I think I have turned you into a bigger WNBA fan than me! (ATL HOE!) I love you so much, Mrs. Wooten!
