I believe weddings are about people before production.
The candles will flicker out. The cake will be eaten. The chairs will be stacked once the night is over.
What lasts is the marriage you’re beginning and the people who stood beside you while it started.
Planning matters because it creates space—not for perfection, but for presence.
For quiet moments with your mom before the ceremony. For a deep breath before the doors open. For dancing until your feet hurt.
The details have their place. I love beautiful tables, thoughtful design, and a well-built timeline, but they were never meant to be the point.
If I can give my couples anything, I hope it’s the freedom to be fully present on one of the most meaningful days of their lives.
Because at the end of the day, it’s never been about creating a production.
It’s about celebrating a marriage.

A dream I’ve carried for years is becoming a reality… AC Events & Calligraphy is officially becoming my full-time focus!

Nomination guidelines:
* Nominations may be submitted by friends, family members, vendors, etc.
* Only one nomination per couple
* Nominations should focus on the couple’s story and why this gift would be meaningful to them
* We encourage nominations for couples who have experienced unexpected circumstances, significant life challenges, or simply deserve a little extra support as they begin their marriage

What the selected couple receives:
* 50% off wedding planning services from AC Events & Calligraphy
* Complimentary paper banner from ACEC
* $250 off Pryce Jordan Photography
* 10% off Mack Hatcher Event Rentals
* $100 off a two-tiered cake from Doodle and Dough

Selection process:
* A couple will be selected based on their story, circumstances, and how this blessing could positively impact their wedding experience
Important details:
* Must be 18+ and legally eligible to marry
* Cannot be exchanged for cash
* Additional wedding expenses (venue, other vendors, etc.) are not included unless specifically stated
* If vendor is unavailable on wedding date, they will not be able to provide the service.
