This year we will be hosting our first (hopefully of many) Karaoke contest as part of Quincy Daze on August 23rd, 2014 from 2pm-6pm.
If you or someone you know would like to be involved and sing in this inaugural event...This post will tell you how. We will have room for 30 singers to participate in the first round where each singer will sing one song. The singers will be judged by a panel of judges on the following categories (vocals 60%, stage presence 20%, audience reaction/participation 20%) The singers with the top scores in the first round (at least 5), will be asked to sing in the finals to determine our winners. We have some amazing cash prizes to offer this year with 1st place taking home $500.00, 2nd place $250;00, and 3rd place $100.00.

As stated...we only have room for 30 entrants. We will accept requests to enter until August 9th 2014. If we have more than 30 requests, we will select 30 random requests to sing on August 23rd at Quincy Daze. A random order will then be selected, and those who make it in will be notified as to where they will be singing in the order and approximate time they will take the stage.

So how do you submit a request? That's easy...
1. Like the Quincy Daze page.
2. Send us a Message with the following information
* Name
* Age
* Hometown
* 3 song choices....title and artist! (1 for first round, 1 for finals and 1 for an alternate in case more than one person want to sing the same song.)
