Last month we threw it back to the 80s & 90s for a nostalgia filled night of creativity, cookies and all the retro vibes!!!

Guests decorated cookies with .merla, made friendship bracelets, beaded keychains, made cootie catchers and more.

We love giving adults opportunities to get creative, connect with friends, and enjoy a night out that’s a little different than dinner and drinks.

Today we turned the keys in to our first studio space in Hingham. That’s where all the magic began for us and we’re beyond thankful to continue on in a larger, more accessible space! Can’t wait to craft with you over in Cohasset 💕

Taking a minute to introduce myself now that we’ve met so many amazing new people. Thank you for following along the crafty journey here!

A little about me:

For ten years before I started this business, I was running an Etsy Shop. It was a wonderful experience and allowed me to knit, crochet, embroider, quilt and sew while still being able to take care of my babies: the best perk!

Once my youngest started full-time preschool, I knew I needed more and thankfully the opportunity to run The Crafty Place happened. Since then, it’s been full steam ahead and I’ve created a wonderful team of people who are working with me to make this business what it is today. I couldn’t do it without them. Truly. 🫶

I feel beyond lucky to have the opportunity to spend time with children who also enjoy the art of crafting. Encouraging them to express themselves and find what excites them gives me such purpose. I always say how I wish a studio space like this was around when I was a kid!

THANK YOU for the support and love that so many of you have shown so far and I can’t wait to share all that’s to come.

📸 We’ve partnered with for the Playful Portrait Series! Each session will be relaxed, personality-filled and designed to capture kids as they truly are. Silly, playful, energetic, funny, and everything else in between.

Lauren Sutter will guide the children through a fun, laidback experience where they can be themselves while authentic memories are captured naturally. We have a few spots left - snag them now!
