I’ve stared at this video more times than I can count over the last few days.

The evening before Ryan passed away, he and Barb were here at Malbay Estate doing what they so often did—showing up for others. They were behind the bar, volunteering at a fundraiser, smiling, laughing, working side by side. It was such an ordinary moment at the time, but now it feels incredibly special. I’m so thankful I happened to capture it.

Ryan, thank you for your service to our country and for your years of service in law enforcement. You dedicated your life to protecting others, and that kind of selfless commitment is something we will never take for granted.

And to Barb—there are no words that can truly express how much our hearts are with you. You have served alongside Ryan every step of the way as a military spouse, a law enforcement spouse, an incredible mother, and an unwavering supporter of so many. Always showing up to support your community with strength and a smile! Barb, if you see this, please know that you and your family are surrounded by people who love you. We are praying for you and carrying you in our hearts.

There is nothing quite like watching a love story 14 years in the making come to life at Malbay Estate. 🤍✨

Carly and Sebastian’s weekend wedding was truly one for the books. They stayed entirely true to themselves, soaking in every single moment with their favorite people (including special aisle appearances by their sweet pups, Nala and June! 🐶).

The entire weekend was filled with so much joy, the absolute best bridal party, and unforgettable details—from the great food and amazing cake to the stellar music and stunning flowers. But the real showstopper? Carly’s phenomenal surprise dance for her groom, Sebastian! 💃🏼🔥

Our first wedding weekend of the season at Malbay Estate was the most beautiful start to a season of celebrations.

🤍 From the very beginning, they brought so much warmth, kindness, and joy to every step of the planning process. It was an incredible honor to host their wedding weekend and to witness such a meaningful celebration surrounded by the people they love most.

💐 Their wedding was a vintage wildflower dream—filled with antique treasures, delicate details, heirloom-inspired florals, colorful vases, vintage china, and the most beautiful garden-inspired touches. Every element felt intentional, personal, and perfectly at home in the Northwoods of Minnesota.
