Meet my brother, Jason, the “luckiest-unlucky” guy around.
Last week, as he was preparing to fill up with gas at the Post Falls Conoco he abruptly found himself at the wrong place at the wrong time as (alleged) shooter, Tisen W. Sterkel, began to fire a gun at random vehicles & people; including Jason. When his ears started ringing and his brain tried to register why this strange man just shot his truck, he took a step out and realized his leg was throbbing; sure enough, he had been shot.
Fortunately, you won’t likely find a more jovial, gregarious, happy-go-lucky person; he is elated to be alive and grateful for his incredible fortune.
Jason is a worker; one of the best massage therapist’s in the region. Get this, while riding in the ambulance on his way to KMC he stopped to take the time to call a client to inform them he wouldn’t be making it to their scheduled massage later that day… that’s Jason for you. After a successful surgery to remove the bullet lodged in his leg, he will likely be out of work (or on a reduced schedule) for 1-3 weeks as the nature of his job requires him to be on his feet.
Despite being a victim of a crime, the expenses for his medical bills & missed opportunities for employment will be minimally covered through this whole ordeal. We are hoping to raise $5,000

We’ve been hitting high records of heat over here, trying to keep plants hydrated, and Wedding florals looking at their best!

As the field begins to emerge I always like to reflect back on the previous year to compare the differences that each season brings.

This year I’ve already seen the affects of the lack of care I was physically unable to give my seedlings in the early winter/ spring and how our rainless spring with intense heat has really put a toll on this years crop.

But the thing that I love to take away from the challenges of nature is in the end no matter what our journey is… we’re all doing our best and working hard, so this is a friendly reminder to you to that you are AMAZING!!! Keep doing your best no matter what that may look like and always stay kind. 🤗
