Thank You Kootenai Health for inviting us to participate in your Employee Apreciation Event yesterday. We were amongst 5 other food vendors. Was definitely our biggest event of the year serving over 1000 Mac n Cheese Brisket Bowls. At one point they were flying out at over 300 an hour. Started the event at 11am and ended at midnight. Jaden surprised Drew with birthday donuts at midnight to end our night. Jenn rocked it out onsite along with the crew while I was back at home base with Kim running supplies through the day.

If you are in the Sandpoint area do yourself a favor and stop in at Smokesmith Bar-B-Que! Me and my daughter drove up for a dinner date and we are both loving it. I tried everything they had to offer and nothing disappointed. 5 star visit for us!

Happy Sunday Drummin Up BBQ friends. It's 4am just sitting in my camp chair watching the smoke roll this morning. Catering season is in full swing. Not sure at this point when we will be open to the public but it's going to be a bit. Hope some of you will be lucky enough to be guests at one of our catering events this summer.

Beautiful day yesterday serving guests at Black Rock annual golf tournament. Jennifer Hyland and Madison served up some fantastic Grilled Tri Tip Crostini with Chimichurri and BBQ Chicken Sliders along with the famous Pepperjack Mac n Cheese.

Always fun when I get to step outside the box. Catered for our friends Brenda and Mario for her dad's 97th birthday. Beautiful wooded North Idaho setting. Menu was Grilled Tri Tip, Pepperjack Mac n Cheese, Fresh Grilled Vegetables, Horseradish Coleslaw and pictured Smoked Snapper with Chimichurri.

Looks like catering season is kicking off full swing. Although busy catering, we are still trying to have a few days each week for the public to get thier BBQ fix. Last nights wedding on the lake was absolutely beautiful. There were lots of guests that made the trip from Texas and it's so satisfying to hear feedback about how they really enjoyed the dinner. Tomorrow May 21st we will be OPEN to the PUBLIC with a full menu 11am-5pm. We will also have our Jumbo Brisket Stuffed Potatoes available.
Order a pulled pork sandwich and if mustard sauce is your jam, you can request a side of it. Pictured is our Memphis in May Mustard Sauce entry. Finished right there with Blues Hogs and Big Bob Gibsons in the middle of the pack. Come and give it a try!
