Thanks to our BBQ friends who came out last week. We were able to collect donations and our tips to donate to the MEND RIVER PROJECTS up coming event. In total we were able to donate $536.

We will be OPEN to the PUBLIC 2 days this week....

Wednesday June 10th
with a full menu 11am-5pm unless we sell out early
We are going to throw some taters in the smoker and offer our Brisket Loaded Potato. In total these weigh in at over 2 pounds

This week we will be OPEN to the PUBLIC 3 days....Mon-Wed June 1st-3rd with a full menu 11am-5pm

I'm sharing a post of an incredible organization here in North Idaho that we have been lucky enough to be part of some of thier events in the past. We have been invited again this year to cook 4 days on the river for another fly fishing retreat. The post I shared says what thier mission is and what they do for our local first responders and veterans. You are welcome to like and check out thier page.

They will be purchasing the groceries and we will be volunteering to cook for the event. The 3 days we are open this week Jenn and I will be donating ALL our tips to help cover the cost of the food. On a regular 3 days that should cover ⅓ the cost of the food. If you would like to help support the MEND RIVER PROJECT, stop by, get you some BBQ and throw a few dollars in the jar!

MEND is built by people who show up.

Guides who donate their time. Friends who help behind the scenes. Supporters who believe veterans and first responders deserve a few good days on the river surrounded by good people.

Every camp is fully community-funded, and every contribution helps make this possible - from lodging and meals, fuel, gear, and time on the water.

Since 2017, we’ve worked to build something rooted in camaraderie, American tradition, and a genuine love for the outdoors and fly fishing.

If you’d like to help us send more people to the river this June, we’d be grateful to have you behind it. Every donation helps us keep this project going!

Not often I post pictures of pork....brisket usually steals the spotlight. Not today! When we were in Memphis I pay attention and come back with an even greater respect for pork from what I observed from Team Meat Whiskey whom we cooked with. Made some adjustments and excited to serve this masterpiece today along with our full menu

So Jennifer Hyland and myself decided we didn't need a day off tomorrow....so we will be OPEN to the PUBLIC Friday May 22nd from 11am-5pm unless we sell out early.
We have been asked a few times this week if we would do Rib Tips. So we will have a rib tip special, 10 of them to be exact because that is what we were able to get from our rib trimmings this week.

What is a Rib Tip? Well this is what Google says about it....

Rib tips are the meaty, cartilage-rich trimmings cut away from a full rack of pork spare ribs to create the neat, squared-off "St. Louis-style" rack. They are highly flavorful, fatty, and tender when cooked properly, offering an excellent "burnt ends" style eating experience.
