One of the better apps in an airport. Perfectly cooked shish*to peppers. Warm, blistered, crunchy salt. Made stomaching paying $27 for a glass of Prosecco a little less painful. And at least the center ”the bar” offered a bit of ambiance compared to the options close to my gate. Birthday vacation 1 (of ♾️) commensing ….. Another tear filled good bye albeit hasty as the scheduled uber ride to mia was early. Leaving this little lovebug will never be easy. She is in the most capable hands with the worlds best dog sitter and not one but two of my “nieces” have asked to stay at my house for a few days. Whether Lily thinks that’s lucky or not is debatable lol but it sure makes me feel better.
Im back to work for a couple weeks but starting the visit with an early mini 50th birthday vacation with TWO of the besties. Feel so incredible blessed! LOVE YOU LILY- catch you on the rebound…

Might be the first time i flew across the Atlantic and didn’t have an airport drink!! But the choice was easy when I saw cold brew on a menu board. And more ice in one cup than in the 10 Luke warm iced coffees combined over the past 3 weeks. 😱🤣. Heading home for 5 days to hang with my Lily girl then back to London for some pre birthday fun and 10 days of work.

Happy Swedish Mothers Day to my tough little mama. She has had a pretty sh*tty start of the year but with sisu and determination she is now slowly healing and walking thru life again and booked a ticket to Florida a few days ago 🙂 can’t wait to have my meatball Monday mommy, my happy hour homie, tequila sunrise bestie back in Jupiter!

Happy 15th gotcha day to my Ride or Die, my Lily girl, the world’s biggest Chihuahua. She shows me everyday that I’m her favorite person and I can’t wait to walk thru the door in 19 days and see her little wiggle butt. My amazing dog sitter has promised there will be celebration and I’ll barely make it off the plane in Florida before I’ll invite people over for my girls quincenera. Mommy loves you Lily. Be good to Bill and I’ll come home soon! ❤️ ❤️

Sunset leaving Florida and sunrise somewhere over the Atlantic not much later, a couple hours before landing in London. Zero sleep in between despite my very comfy bed onboard. Luckily for the people around me it’s bank holiday so I can’t get my rental until tomorrow. Walking, train and uber today :-) Will have to try all the non caffeine ways past 1pm to stay awake to make lunch and dinner so I can go to sleep tonight. any suggestions? Jumping jacks? Slapping my face?

When it’s close to freezing a sun porch with a heater is the perfect place to spend a little time making galentines cards for a few friends. I’d be very surprised if I use this new watercolor set ever again because that’s usually how the cookie crumbles. Making each of the cards made twice as expensive as if I would have just bought them from a local artist. And honestly I’ll surprise myself if I even finish this beyond the second dry time. But relaxing and enjoying myself is priceless ;-) ❤️
