Cassandra and Trey worked together for several years and were friends, but it wasn’t until a mutual friend set them up that they realized they were truly perfect for each other.
Their engagement at Rockledge Gardens was a beautiful surprise—one of their favorite places to walk through the flowers, where Trey arranged for her parents to be there to help distract her before he popped the question.

I never would have dreamed that our working horse ranch would one day become the most beautiful and cherished wedding venue imaginable.
After my daughter got engaged, she started looking for outdoor barn wedding venues. After touring several options, she came to me one evening with that look in her eye… You know, the look that says, “Mom, I’m about to ask for something big!”
She proceeded to announce that she wanted to have her wedding right here at our ranch! I wish I could have seen the perplexed look on my face as she said to me, “Mom, our barn is just as beautiful as the one I just visited. So why not just have my wedding here?”
I reluctantly agreed and secretly thought she had lost her mind. So then the transformation began… We cleaned and painted and then cleaned and painted some more. We planned and decorated and then suddenly voila!! Our beautiful horse barn was magically transformed into a wedding wonderland! I had no idea how this one life event in our family would change the course of the future for our ranch.
Someone recently asked me, what sets your barn venue apart from the rest? My reply was this...
We are not just a building that was built to look like a barn....we are a barn! Branded with the authentic markings of it’s history and legacy. Each wall bears the scars of horse hooves kicking at the sides and knawing at the wood posts that once encompassed their home. We have left as much authenticity as possible to provide our couples and their guest a “real barn experience”. Two of the original stalls were left standing and now serve as our catering and bar areas.
I like how Cambridge Dictionary defines the word RUSTIC...Simple and often rough in appearance: typical of the countryside.... That’s us! So if you’re looking for a true barn experience and not a “look-a-like” barn, then you’ll love The Rocking L Ranch!!
The Rocking L Ranch is a country rustic, shabby chic event venue complete with farm tables, mixed matched vintage chairs and decor. We also offer All Inclusive Wedding Day Packages and All Inclusive Honeymoons. We also host a variety of other events such as family reunions, company picnics, bridal showers and birthday parties.
