In the middle of our big summer cleanup at Bell Hill, getting everything ready for another beautiful fall wedding season, we ran across this little piece of history tucked underneath one of our tables. ❤️

“Cale & Hillary — The Wisimans — 9-5-15”

September 5, 2015. Nearly eleven years ago, two people celebrated the beginning of their marriage here at Bell Hill…and left behind this tiny reminder that they were here.

One of the sweetest things about caring for an old place like Bell Hill is realizing that its history isn’t only found in old photographs, documents, or the names of the families who lived here long ago. It’s also found in little moments like this — the couples who said I do here, the families who gathered, the celebrations, the laughter, and all the memories that have become part of this place.

We have no idea where Cal & Hillary are today, but we sure hope life has been good to them. ❤️

And if by some wonderful chance this post finds its way to them… Happy almost 11th anniversary from Bell Hill!

Here’s to another fall season of love stories becoming part of the history of this old hill. 🍂🤍
