Summit County Fair - Utah Annually, the Summit County Fair is held the first full week of August. See them all in the Summit County countryside.

In the dog days of August, the mind wanders to corn dogs, carnivals, cowboys, and queens. It’s a traditional small town county fair with cowboys and bucking broncos, clowns, a midway, beauty queens, home canned and baked goodies, flowers, vegetables, and more. Events are held throughout Summit County and home base is quiet, scenic Coalville.

The Summit County Fair has been a part of the County’s cultural and social fabric since the early 1900’s. Now over 100 years later, the fair is still an active part of Summit County.

Didn’t get a ticket to the demo derby? Lucky you! That means you get to sit in the comfort of your lawn chair watching the action LIVE on our big screen while the kids stay busy with FREE activities! Come out to the Summit County Fairgrounds from 5-7 for live entertainment and then stay for the derby with free activities for the whole family going on the entire time! This one’s going to be the best one yet!

We are now accepting nominations for active-duty military members and military veterans to be honored during the 2026 Summit County Fair PRCA Rodeo.

If you know someone who has answered the call to serve, we'd love the opportunity to recognize them in front of thousands of fairgoers. Help us celebrate their dedication, sacrifice, and service to our nation.

The 2026 Summit County Fair Demolition Derby tickets are sold out! That doesn't mean you can't participate in the fun. Be sure to come out to the Derby where you will find free bounce houses and mini-golf for the family along with live entertainment from 5-7PM. The Derby will be live streamed on the big screen so come out, get some dinner, enjoy the free activities and watch the metal mashing action on August 1st!
