So fun to be onsite for such an awesome event at Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas this week. The property's recent renovation gave it a fresh feel, and the new pavilion was a standout. With floor-to-ceiling windows, an indoor-outdoor atmosphere, and direct access to the event lawn, it creates a great setting for attendees to connect and enjoy the Scottsdale experience. Additional meeting space and guest room updates are planned through early 2027 – can’t wait to be back with another group to see it then.

While in the Scottsdale area, we did a refresher site of The Scott Resort & Spa, a property full of character, charm, and beautiful interior. The meeting spaces stood out with their natural light, attached patios, and access to great outdoor lawn areas. With 204 guestrooms, two pools, the popular Canal Club restaurant, this setting definitely feels uniquely Scottsdale. The history, décor, and overall atmosphere left a great impression, and we can see this property working well for some of our client’s small to mid-size meetings, incentives, and special events.

We had to find time to dine at Wolf by Vanderpump (again!) while at the Caesars Republic Scottsdale. If you go, get the brownie (trust us its delicious)! The 265-room property feels luxurious throughout, from the dark, contemporary guest rooms to the stylish meeting spaces and rooftop venues. Highlights include the rooftop pool and terrace, Wolf restaurant, walking distance to the Fashion Sqaure Mall, and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 400 guests. The property has the amenities, service team, and elevated atmosphere to create a memorable experience. Definitely a standout option and why our clients continue to let us book this hotel for their elevated events.

Our group planning meeting with the Marquis Los Cabos found it to be on top of our plans for this fall’s events and for groups seeking an adults-only, all-inclusive Cabo experience. The resort offers a more intimate atmosphere than many of the destination's larger properties, and every room features an ocean view, creating a consistently elevated guest experience from arrival to departure. We love our new talented CSM and look forward to some improvements to benefit all our groups.

Its smaller footprint makes it especially appealing for executive retreats, short incentive programs, and groups that value personalized service over an extensive list of restaurants and activities.

Planner Tip: When evaluating group options, look beyond room rates and amenities and consider how the overall experience will feel for attendees. Boutique-style properties can often deliver a more connected and personalized environment. While Marquis is likely due for a refresh in the coming years, a site visit can quickly determine whether it aligns with your group's expectations and goals.

While in Cabo, no CEM trip is complete without time spent at the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos (our former hotel of the year). We’re continually still impressed by the resort's continued investment in the guest experience. Recent additions include a sports bar, a cool themed Indian restaurant, a tequila tasting space, and themed evening events that go beyond what many all-inclusive resorts offer. We’re thrilled the massive pool is now heated—a welcome upgrade for winter programs and a longtime wish list item.

Planner Tip: Family-friendly doesn't automatically mean it's not a fit for corporate groups. In many cases, these resorts can outperform adults-only properties because they offer plenty for guests and families to enjoy while attendees are in meetings or events. With strong dining options, ongoing enhancements, and engaging entertainment programming, Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos remains on our radar for the right group profile and one reason it earned our Property of the Year award a decade ago.

Located on one of the few swimmable beaches in Cabo, we recently visited Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa to see how it delivers for groups. The resort sits directly across from the marina, near the famous Arch, and within walking distance of Cabo's restaurants, bars, and nightlife. It's also next door to Edith's, which remains one of our top recommendations for an elevated offsite group dinner.

Planner Tip: Not every group needs to be tucked away in a secluded resort corridor. For shorter incentive trips and younger attendees, walkable access to nightlife, excursions, and fishing charters can create a more memorable experience while reducing transportation costs. After bringing groups to Cabo for more than 30 years, Corazón is a property we'll consider recommending when location and vibrant nightlife are top priorities.

We recently sited The Wigwam, a resort that has welcomed guests for nearly a century. It features three golf courses, spacious casita-style rooms, and two pools. Litchfield's, known for its American cuisine and locally sourced ingredients, is currently undergoing renovations and is expected to reopen in early Fall 2026. Red Allen's Bar & Grill overlooks the golf course. Guests can also explore the walkable downtown Litchfield Park area, with its local restaurants and shops.

JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. Besides the awesome water park and lazy river, our adult-only groups love this hotel and its location. From the golf course - right on site (no transfers needed) and the awesome spa, attendees will love being located right across the street (walking tunnel gets them there) to Desert Ride Marketplace and High Street's shopping, nightlife, and dining scene. Tía Carmen, celebrates Southwestern flavors and local ingredients and Kembara features creative Asian-inspired cuisine.

The Westin Kierland is currently undergoing one of the most significant renovations in its history, including a redesigned arrival experience, Scotch Library, speakeasy, upgraded meeting spaces, and pool experiences. The transformation is expected to be completed in Fall 2026. Golf, lazy river, surf simulator, Scotch Library, and walkable to Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter shopping and dining! We have two very large groups who are thrilled to be booked here for next year!
