Luke and Tahressa’s wedding day truly could not have been more perfect! Although it poured rain the day before, Mother Nature brought her A-game on the actual wedding day and showed off a little.

From the sweet outdoor ceremony officiated by Luke’s grandfather, to the incredible spread of delicious food, to a reception filled with laughter, dancing, and so much love, we’re pretty sure these two couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. Being part of a love story filled with so much happiness and support is the best part of this business!

We also need to give a special shoutout and a huge thank you to Miss Katie Inman for quickly rearranging her own busy schedule to step in as a second shooter with Beth for this beautiful day. Some of the peeks you see here came straight from her camera roll! It was such a joy working alongside a young, talented artist who will no doubt go far in this industry.

Hello friends 🤍

Over the past year, life has brought more change and loss than we ever could have prepared for. Many of you know pieces of our story, but we wanted to share a bit more of what’s been on our hearts.

In April of last year, Beth lost her father and then just six months later, in October, she lost her mother after a short and difficult battle with cancer. Then this April, Suzanne’s mother, a vibrant, loving wife, mom, and grandma passed away unexpectedly.

To lose parents so close together is something that reshapes you. It shifts your perspective, your priorities, and the way you move through the world.

Because of these profound changes, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to step away from wedding photography.

This is not something we chose lightly. Being invited into such meaningful moments, to witness love, celebrate families, and preserve memories has been one of the greatest honors of our lives. We have poured our hearts into every wedding, every couple, every story, and that will always mean so much to us.

We also recognize that there are so many incredibly talented photographers just beginning their journeys, and it feels like the right time to pass the torch to the next generation of creatives.

For those who are already booked with Sixpence Wedding Photography, please know your weddings will absolutely be honored. We have a few amazing couples ahead, and we are so grateful to be able to close this chapter alongside you in the most beautiful and meaningful way.

To our past couples: thank you for trusting us with your most important moments. You will always be a part of our story.

✨ Sneak peeks from Kaitlynne & Dawson’s wedding day! ✨

High school sweethearts turned husband and wife — their day was every bit as beautiful as their story. 💕

The ceremony took place at the stunning Chapel at Rose-Hulman, followed by a gorgeous celebration at the Terre Haute Country Club. Every single detail was so thoughtful and unique, and the entire day was blessed with the most perfect weather you could imagine.

Both families were so warm and welcoming, and the wedding party couldn’t have been sweeter — kind, helpful, and so much fun! It’s easy to see how much family means to Kaitlynne and Dawson, especially with all of their siblings standing by their sides. ❤️

These two are genuinely some of the kindest souls — truly meant to be together — and capturing their day was such an honor.

A huge shoutout to Kristi Bean (O-My Photography) for joining as a second shooter for this one! While Suzanne was enjoying some much-needed time away on vacation, Beth and Kristi worked together for this beautiful celebration of love. Kristi, it was an absolute pleasure working alongside you — thank you for helping capture all the magic of this incredible day! 🤍

Not only was this wedding absolutely gorgeous and so much fun, but it was also filled with unforgettable moments shared with the best people! 💕

Chris and Lisa are truly two peas in a pod — he loves to dish it out, and she fires right back with the same quick wit and laughter! Watching them together is such a joy. As a longtime friend, it’s so special to see Chris find the love of his life and be the happiest he’s ever been.

Their day was full of personal touches — from the beautiful canvases lining the walkway into the Wine Gardens, to the custom koozies, the photo-filled table décor, and even the sweet kids’ table. Every detail was so thoughtfully planned and perfectly them.

It was such a wonderful day — not just for Chris and Lisa, but for everyone lucky enough to celebrate alongside them. 🥂

We spent last weekend with a hilarious and super sweet couple, their family and friends and it was a BLAST! Amber and Kyle certainly know how to throw a great party! The food was delish, desserts were on point, the weather was amazing and can we talk about how the bride, groom and ENTIRE bridal party looked?! The colors were just beautiful, it could not have been a better day if they tried! And we can't forget that Kyle and Amber had their own FBI Ring Security team, courtesy of their adorable nephews! They were all, business with those shades, not-to-mention the badges and ear pieces! It was such a blessing to get to know both Amber and Kyle's families too, everyone was so welcoming to us and we really enjoyed being a small part of their day! Congratulations to the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Drykos!

What an amazingly beautiful day for these two lovebirds! Cheyenne and Hunter have been dreaming of this day for a long time and it could not have been better if they tried! The colors, the weather, the food, the entertainment and the love was just perfection! Between their family and friends, these two are just so loved and adored. They said I do in the quickest ceremony ever, but it was still filled with emotion and you could see the love between them from the second they started exchanging their vows. This couple compliments each other so well, and they share an amazing bond with their tiny pooches too, which came dressed as a mini groom and a mini bride! It was just the most perfect day and we can't thank them both enough for sharing it with us! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. James! We love you both!

Holy engagement session magic!!

Meeting up with Sydney and Cam for their engagement session was such a joy! These two have such a natural, easy connection! They are always laughing and having fun. It made the whole session feel effortless and full of heart.

And the way Cam looks at Syd... whew. You can feel the love. It’s the kind of look that says everything without a single word. And the way she makes his whole face just light up is just beautiful to witness.

A gorgeous evening + a gorgeous couple who are not only in love, but truly best friends = one of the most incredible sessions we’ve had the pleasure of capturing. Deciding what to share was nearly impossible because EVERY SINGLE IMAGE is perfection!

These lovebirds are tying the knot next September, and we couldn’t be more excited for them!

Can we officially make Matrimony Monday a thing? 💍 Because we’re loving the chance to start the week by celebrating so much love!

For our third post this week, we're thrilled to share a few beautiful moments from Lori and Devin’s wedding. Their ceremony was everything you'd hope for in a simple, heartfelt celebration! It was intimate, joyful, and filled with the people who matter most.

Lori and Devin are two of the kindest, most down-to-earth souls you’ll ever meet. Their relaxed, fun-loving energy made capturing their day an absolute dream. Devin looked sharp and confident, and Lori...WOW. She was glowing from the inside out, and her dress fit like it was designed just for her. (And yes, her lips really are that perfect, NO FILLER needed! Clearly, she's one of God’s favorites!)

Love was truly in the air, and we’re so honored to have been part of it. Here's to Lori and Devin! May your life together be just as easy, beautiful, and joy-filled as your wedding day! 🥂✨

It's a double posting kind of day! Yesterday, Brogan and Kelsie walked down the aisle in one of the most beautiful churches ever! These two are so sweet together and it was such a great day to celebrate! The weather was perfect, the men looked handsome, the ladies were gorgeous and let's talk about THAT DRESS! Kelsie was just stunning, that dress was made for her! It was classy, timeless and could not have been more perfect for her! It was such a pleasure to capture all the sweet moments! We wish them all the best and can't wait to see where their future takes them! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Collom!
