We also offer an "Elopement Special", Monday through Thursday, for people who "just want to get married". Maybe you can't get an appointment at the local town clerk or maybe you want something nicer than a 1 or 2 minute, generic ceremony. Congratulations to Morgan and Nick! For my double header weekend, I got to perform my second ceremony for a great couple. They wrote some of the most perfect vows to each other, that I've ever heard. Truly fantastic.

Their ceremony was at the always fantastic, Saratoga Winery, with Annie Rose Brill making sure everything went according to plan. I've worked a lot of weddings with her and she always does a fantastic job. Speaking of fantastic jobs, they had Rob Spring taking their pictures, so I know they'll have some great memories to look back on!

They had a great group of family and friends, and I hung out after the ceremony and joined them all at their cocktail hour. The food was so good, I only remembered to take one picture, of any of the appetizers.
All in all, a great weekend. Now time to get back to some yardwork tomorrow.

What a great weekend! After some time off from performing weddings, to attend several friend's children's weddings and enjoy some of this beautiful upstate Summer, I started off with a great couple on Friday. I had the pleasure of marrying Tom and Betsy, at the beautiful Yaddo Gardens, in Saratoga Springs.

I was able to give the bride and groom exactly what they wanted - a small, intimate wedding, with only their closest family there. The weather cooperated and gave us a perfect break, to perform a ceremony without a single drop!

Jim was so great! He was extremely helpful, experienced and professional and helped create a great ceremony for our big day. He helped answer any questions, review vows and our story, and overall create a fantastic lifelong memory. He was truly amazing and would recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant.

Great Officiant

From our very first conversation, Jim was incredibly organized — clear communication, thoughtful planning, and everything ran exactly on schedule. But what really stood out was the ceremony speech itself: it was personal, heartfelt, and clearly written with real care for who we are as a couple. So many of our guests came up afterward to say how wonderful the ceremony was. Thank you Jim!!

What an absolutely beautiful day, for a beautiful couple! The weather could not have cooperated much more than it did. The ceremony went off perfectly, at the Mead Family Farm at Lucy Brate Barn. Great to work with my buddy, DJ Jeff Richards, of Conway Entertainment - Wedding DJ Albany NY as well as Amanda Trackey of Curora Weddings. She did a great job of anticipating everything the couple needed, for their special day.
Also great to work with Upstate New York Wedding Photographer | Known Together , Pretty Films
All in all, a fantastic day!
