Digitizing old videos!
Hi I just wanted to share something amazing that I found locally that I think others might be interested in. Especially for weddings!
I was a 90s baby and my mom had an old camcorder with a bunch of old tapes. The cam corder stopped working so I had no way to view the videos. My mom passed a couple years ago so I was a little sad about the videos. BUT a company called Family History Rescue reached out to me recently for wedding service collab and I was floored! Like is this my mom pulling some strings or just a coincidence π
lol
I got one video sent back to me that he digitized already, it was my older sister's first birthday party in 1991.There were Family members, grand parents etc that aren't alive anymore that I was able to see and hear. I didn't know I needed that. Hearing my grandfather's voice again was wow π.
He uploads it to YouTube, and you get a link that only allows you to view it if you have that link.(You also get them on a thumb drive)
There were also cousins in the video, so I sent them the link and they were equally as thrilled as me to be watching this video.
As a mom, Being able to see my mom be a mom and see how much love she had for her children was honestly priceless.
I'm only sharing this because I'm sure there are others out there that have these tapes and don't know what to do with them or know how to watch them. This would be a great thing to play at weddings too!
If you're interested in this service, this is his link!
