Hot Girl Brunch™️ 😝 From the archives!
Picture this: it’s summer of 2020, we’re in peak pandemic nonsense mode. It’s Hot Girl Brunch at home *most* mornings. One Sunday we hit up Auntie Michelle because no one’s grits hit like hers. She makes a pot for us which we traded for some fresh baked zucchini bread, so that we could make these insane shrimp and grits. We started taking nice pictures of all our fancy lockdown culinary adventures. Someday we’ll make a cookbook together but today you get this throwback and of Hot Girl Shrimp and Grits. 🔥

TEXTURE 🐑🧶🧵 Our recent shoot with was full of all the coziest and most luxurious locally produced textiles. Sarah and Jess, founders of this amazing organization, emphasized to us how important it was to capture the texture produced in the region which was on full display at their first ever Symposium Event!

We love how this stop motion reel turned out showcasing Fairmount Presbyterian Church’s #FreeLittlePantry in Cleveland Heights. It has been so precious to see the care and attention @fairmountyouth puts into keeping this pantry stocked for the community. 💕🙏 Honored to capture the fruit of their labor.

A fun, quick reel we put together for Coventry Village at Halloween! We love finding ways to connect so many faces in the neighborhood with the greater community through this kind of simple, beautiful storytelling content.

We can't stop smiling about alllll of the moments we shared at Coventry Village's Juneteenth Celebration. From experience design to branding, marketing to filmmaking... this was a big project for our team and collaborators but we're thrilled to support the community in celebrating the freedom and self-expression of our black neighbors. Clearly we had a good time in the process!

Coventry Village Drum Circle

Who's ready to DANCE!? 🥁 This gorgeous Cleveland weather lately has us dreaming of summer and remembering how much fun we had creating this video of the Coventry Village Drum Circle! 🤲 Huge shout out to Don Davis for the incredible job he has done over the years, creating this space that welcomes people from all walks of life. It was a joy to capture the energy, rhythm, and life of this group! Check them out this summer, beginning in June!

Rev. Jessie MacMillan is one of the most beautiful people we've worked with. As the interim pastor at Fairmount Presbyterian Church, her fierce, gentle compassion, discernment, and love made her a cherished pillar of the church during her time serving there. This spring, Fairmount welcomed in a new senior pastor, and this video was part of the loving tribute created to celebrate Pastor Jessie's ministry. From navigating the communications and transition process, to sharing moments highlighting her work, we were happy to support FPC through this season. It was so special to be included in this moment of the church's life and evolution.

Buckeye Relief was one of the most amazing groups of people we've had the pleasure of working with over the last year. They opened Amplify Dispensary, their first retail space, in Coventry Village this March and it was so fun helping them create an announcement that is as vibrant as they are. Their brand new location in Coventry is absolutely beautiful. From touring their growing facility in Eastlake to interviewing their team, we've enjoyed every minute of our collaboration. Check out this highlight reel of our work together!

We have been working with Fairmount Presbyterian Church (an amazing group of people!) since last summer, to distill their core values and communicate them more effectively with their congregation and the broader community. One of the “storylines” we have developed together is “Faith In Action.” Here is a video of a tender, private moment of faith in action: sweet Jane serving her church by setting up the sanctuary with great care. Odin and I have loved turning strategy into story with FPC! 🙏✨💕
