When you bring games to the average person as opposed to fussy tournament players , it's so interesting to learn things I never would have thought about .

Even when I'm using tournament Street Fighter sticks on my cabinets, I had a person remark their wife was struggling with Pac-Man .

To be honest my first thought is well if you haven't played pac-Man on a real cabinet since the eighties , you might be misremembering how good you are !

But I put my pride on the shelf and thought about it .

They didn't have the vocabulary or knowledge to tell me what the problem was but I figured it out!

There were no diagonals in games that old, so the sticks just needed to move in four directions .

All modern sticks moving eight directions. And then Pac-Man depending on the version it can be more difficult playing on a normal joystick versus a four-way .

All my years in using these tournament standard Japanese sticks and I never knew you could make them four-way sticks with about a 5 Second adjustment

So I'm installing new Japanese sticks on my main Pac-Man and Galaga machine .

There's a lot with nostalgia where you just accept it if it's all correct, but if something is slightly off, you can't say why but something just bothers you .

I really enjoy doing this kind of stuff too i really enjoy doing this kind of stuff too really make people happy and return to a special time in their life, if only for a few minutes at a time !

I really miss CLE's Geauga Lake now that I have kids, wish I could take them there !

Thanks to Cleveland Pinball Show I have a token from the arcade to remember the great times and add to my collection !

It is always a privilege to see kids having such a great time with Games I've loved for 20+ years.

Spreading the glory of OutRun2 tonight at a bar mitzvah , IMO best arcade racing game of all time ! It's usually nonstop lol

Also really great to be working with Rock The House tonight putting on these usual amazing show and really making these kids feel special !

What I love most about videogames is that all races, genders, and species can enjoy them equally, together!

Cleaning the warehouse, found this blast from the past from the Cleveland Gaming Expo I did in 2015!

It was a really fun event that got me in touch with a lot of cool people in Cleveland at an amazing venue !

Did you know it was only Western Nintendo's that had these glitch problems? The pins on the connector band every time you push a cartridge down into the Nintendo .

As I played some Nintendo last night and swivel the cart in the slot to fix this glitching , I thought of funny it would be if a company today released a product where oh you have to bang on it, blow on it, finagle it, to make it work once you've had it about 6 months lol .

ALSO DO NOT BLOW ON YOUR CARTS. It's really bad for them. Just clean them with rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip !
