Hey oyster lovers! I did this gig a year ago and had a blast!! Serving 150 Fortune ‘Bad Boys’ (Nova Scotia, briny as all get out, 1.5”) on that awesome closed-to-traffic street across from Great Lakes Brewing Co. tomorrow and the weather looks great! 3-8 or whenever I run out of bivalves. Apparently there’s some ‘wine’ thing going on as well (lol!!) so do your part and support this fest! I‘ve got some new tee shirt colors so come prepared to rock the shuck!

Check the websites to see our selections this week; expecting some nice, small briny appellations from PEI, New Brunswick, possibly ME but *probably Canada. We'll know tomorrow at noon.

With Beryl bearing down on us there might be a lil rain but fear not! Oysters from PEI, New Brunswick and Northern ME. are still on tap! Come on out Thursday for a fantastic night of oyster pairings and me being a goof in my flamingo/koi shirt! Yes, tee shirts will be made available.

We've got another Oyster and Wine pop up event happening with Adam Smith from CLE On The Half Shell and Voyager Beverage! This one is all about pairing Orange Wines with Oysters!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Join us on Thursday, July 11th from 6-8pm.

3 wines- $18 per person
4 oysters- $14* per order

*Pre-order your Oysters on our website through 7/9/24.
(If you miss the pre-order, no worries, there will be oysters to purchase at the event. First come, first served.)

No reservations are needed for the event, just pop in!

I'll be slingin' Barstools and Beau Soleils this coming Monday (April 29th) at Marie's 'Patron Saint's Cafe' in Hingetown 5-8PM...y'all know the drill; get there early and enjoy some of the best PEI/ New Brunswick oysters as well as the entire menu which...is...awesome! So happy I could add some bivalves to my great friend's birthday party. Kudos to Lyman, Shannon, Jay and the staff at Wine Spot for hosting a truly epic event last night. Put this coming Monday on your calendar for a tasty Happy Hour at Patron Saint's on Detroit. 5-8, don't be late! Oysters not your thing? No problem, we get it; owner Marie and Chef Dave have an array of culinary options for you and your friends. But..the oysters will be amazing!

Also, refrigerant gas technology (circa 1924) has pushed the limits of refrigerated seafood viability into Wedding Month and beyond! So yeah, your special-special June wedding reception venue is perfect for serving all kinds of oysters; regardless of the month.
