“If you need any event catered, do not walk, RUN SPRINT TELEPORT, go as fast as you can to Spice Catering’s website or office. We used Spice for our wedding, and we have never received so many compliments on food in our lives. We thought the tasting was absolutely fantastic, but somehow the food at the wedding was even more incredible!!!! I could not recommend them enough!!! May Spice~y Spotlight! ✨

Meet Neil Sanchez, our Chief Operating Officer at Spice, who brings over 30 years of leadership, hospitality, + passion to the table.

He started in kitchens at just 14 years old in Kansas City + never looked back—his career has taken him through Cleveland, South Florida + ultimately back to Northeast Ohio, where he’s called the Lake Erie shoreline home since 2012.

From the back of house to the boardroom, Neil’s strengths lie in team building, business growth, + a relentless commitment to excellence. With a sharp eye for detail + a heart for hospitality, he keeps our operations running smoothly + our team thriving.

Outside of Spice, Neil enjoys downtime with his wife, Felecia, + their cats, Olive + Pepper. He’s often found hosting backyard gatherings—serving up good eats + great vibes to friends + family.

We’re lucky to have Neil’s experience, energy + steady leadership guiding the way. Thanks for all you do, Neil! 🍽️🔥

Chef Ben Bebenroth believes that changing how we connect with food, as individuals and as a society, can save the world. That eating regionally and seasonally is one of the most impactful actions we can take for our planet. That the link between soil health, nutrient density and community vibrancy couldn’t be more important.

This reverence for the role of food in systemic change drives everything that we do here at Spice. We support farmers that are stewards of the land, sourcing at least 80% of all ingredients from small, sustainable family farms within 150 miles of Cleveland. This commitment to regional agriculture keeps revenue within the community, not spread among a national corporate franchise, and helps build momentum toward the revitalization of our city neighborhoods.
