It's been brought to my attention that, shortly after some of us who overlook and host our Octane & Ice Cream event had to leave earlier than normal, a group of owners took it upon themselves to act in a few ways that we do not tolerate. To the point that, nearly every post, specifically asks our attendees to act in an adult manner and refrain from actions that would draw the wrong kind of attention.

Not only is this reckless and juvenile, but this impacts my reputation, and CCE's reputation, with the community and our hosts.

To the drivers involved in this childish display: If that's the type of meet you want to attend, go somewhere else. You are no longer welcome at any of our events, and if you attend and attempt to do this again, I will deal with you personally at that time.

To the numerous people that reached out with concerns: Thank you for doing so and renewing my faith in our small but tight knit community. I appreciate all of you.

We hold our events for our locals that are of like mind, and their families. Control your impulses and do better.

For those that know me, I typically do not take many, if any, pictures or videos at our events. Not that I don't feel it's deserved, but I'm usually so engrossed in conversation and meeting new people that it doesn't happen.

Although I did share these on our story, I wanted to post them again now. We had a great showing last night, fantastic group of people, and even had a group join us from Haines City on a whim.

Thank all of you for coming out and making events like this worthwhile.

Also, anyone who did take photos, please feel free to send them to as we're always looking for new shots for flyers of our people.

Our friends at Kelly's Ice Cream will be staying open past their normal hours till 9PM, and will be granting a 15% discount if you mention you're at the meet! Let's show them some appreciation and get a sweet treat while we're out there!

Coming back at you for a 2nd heat (pun intended). Kelly's/Foxtail was also nice enough to stay open for us to use their restrooms, and serve food/drinks during our new extended hours until 9PM! Be sure to stop in and show them some love!

Fantastic turnout for our first meet on the evening schedule, you guys really reminded me of why I continue to do this. Great builds, awesome people, absolutely no nonsense behavior, and the parking area further in the lot had perfect lighting. My heart is so full, thank you all.

I was so happy when I got home, that I had to brag to the owners of Foxtail/Kelly's. Not only were they extremely pleased to hear it, we discussed extending the ours from 6-8PM to 6-9PM. I know some of you from out of town would have made it if it ran that late, and a handful of us stayed talking until 9 anyway. What do you all think?

TIME CHANGE

After a lot of consideration and input from our attendees, we have decided to move our meet time. Schedule will still be the 3rd Saturday of every month, and same location. However, effective January 17th, we will now be meeting from 6-8PM.

Same respect and guidelines will apply, so let's all be adults as we move forward into Clermont Octane & Ice Cream!

Just a friendly reminder: we're a few days away from our December meet! We've teamed up this year with and to help bring a much bigger presence to this coming Saturday!

There will be a visit from Santa, and toy drive is full send! Bring some items for a good cause!
