I’m Lauren, owner of LS Plannjng & Co. I started my business simply because I was a recent bride who couldn’t cope with not planning any longer. Now, years later, with close to 100 weddings under my belt, I can truly say taking the jump to start my business has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.
I believe my calling is to help others, I truly love bringing other people happiness. And how cool that I get to plan other couples best day ever? (I will truly never be over this).
During an event, you can find me with a clipboard in hand and a coffee in the other, but when I’m not planning weddings, you can find me in a thrift store, spending time with loved ones or working on a home project. I love a good (like a really good) cup of coffee, traveling and trying a new recipe.
Most of my designs integrate contemporary designs paired with vintage elements. I love a vintage find, adding texture or something unexpected on the table. My grandmother (memerè) used to take me thrifting as a child to “hunt for deals” and I just never stopped.
I’m happily married to the love of my life, Blake. Although his idea of a perfect tablescapes is disposable plates with red solo cups, he does entertain my creative side and at least acts invested. He fully supported my crazy idea to start my business only five days after our own wedding. He still makes me laugh like we’re on our first date.
Finally, I’m the oldest daughter, (and a fire sign), which I believe fully summarizes my personality.
