Two more bouquets going out today for graduation celebrations 🎓🌸

One of my favorite parts of flower farming is getting to be a tiny part of someone’s big moments. These flowers started as tiny seeds months ago, survived crazy weather, pests, and all the learning curves that come with growing, and now they get to be part of celebrating such a huge accomplishment.

Growth takes time, patience, and a whole lot of unseen work… both in gardens and in life. 💛

Yesterday while I was harvesting flowers for this weekend’s graduation bouquets, I let Conner pick flowers in the garden too. Normally I don’t let the kids pick because at ages 6, 5, and 3 they tend to pull the flower… and the whole plant right out of the ground with it. 😂

But yesterday I let him have a little freedom with a few restrictions, and this is the bouquet he ended up with.

Most of these were flowers I probably would’ve passed over. Bent stems, odd shapes, little blooms I would’ve called “rejects.” But he saw beauty in every one of them and gathered them together anyway. And honestly, together they turned out perfect.

It reminded me of how God uses people. Sometimes we feel overlooked, imperfect, or not quite enough. But God sees purpose where we see flaws. He takes all the pieces we think don’t belong and fits them together beautifully. In the end, His ways are always perfect. 🌸

This little beauty went out this morning to surprise someone special 💐

While we’ve been focusing more on our regular flower subscriptions lately, we still absolutely offer bouquets for birthdays, anniversaries, “just because,” and those semi last-minute moments when you want to brighten someone’s day.

One of the biggest differences between buying from a local flower grower versus a traditional florist? These flowers were cut fresh this morning and stayed in fresh water right up until delivery — not shipped across the country or sitting in storage for days or weeks before reaching you.

With proper care, these blooms will likely stay beautiful for a week or longer 🌿

And while some people call arrangements like this “wildflowers,” most of these varieties don’t grow wild here at all. The work behind this bouquet actually started back in November — from seed starting and planning to months of watering, tending, and harvesting.

When you order from us, you’re not just buying flowers. You’re supporting a local family, local agriculture, and flowers grown with intention right here at home 🤍
