May The 4th Be With You!
If you know me, you know I’m the perfect person to pull off the biggest ring prank in wedding history! 😏 Huge thanks to Tim and Aline for trusting me with this epic moment—it’s definitely one for the books! Let me set the scene: the best man, the groom’s dad (also officiating), and every single guest were SWEATING because the ring box was… empty. Yep, no rings, just panic. 😂 But don’t worry, I had a sneaky plan up my sleeve. While everyone was stressing, I had already passed the rings off to our VIP guest—R2-D2! 🤖💍
Cue the gasps and cheers as R2-D2 made his grand entrance down the aisle, carrying the rings on a pillow. The look of surprise and laughter on everyone’s faces was absolutely priceless! It wasn’t easy pulling this off—I had to keep the guys distracted, make sure the best man didn’t check the box, and then, in a perfectly panicked Oscar-worthy performance, I handed him the ring box right before the ceremony, urging him to hurry down the aisle before he could even peek inside. Mission accomplished!
But wait, it gets better. After that unforgettable ceremony, we did a full-on FLIP. The same space transformed into the most gorgeous outdoor reception you’ve ever seen. We’re talking dreamy lighting, a killer dance floor under the stars, and, oh yeah, LIGHTSABERS. 🌌✨ The vibe was electric, the weather was perfect, and the fun didn’t stop until the very last dance.
