ANSWER:
Great question!!!
We have seasoned sellers that have been with us since 1999. This is a rain or shine event. Most professional entreprenuers have high grade canopy tents. The only thing that will shut this event completely down would be tornadic weather, threat of flash-flooding, a pandemic, or some-such other act of God, Mother Nature, Our Beloved Spirit-in-the-Heavenly-Sky; whichever term YOU prefer. . . . . . . (an earthquake?).

This type of phenomenon or situation would shut us down (you get the idea).
So! We tell our beloved TREASURE HUNTERS to dress to conditions:
wear mud boots but bring comfortable walking shoes when the mud dries up!!!
Bring plenty of bottled water (stay hydrated), pack some healthy, energy generating snacks and if it's a sunny day, wear protective sun screen. Less experienced sellers, who are not prepared, will usually wimp-out and stay home. No two Antique Alley festivals are ever the same.
The mix of participants (both sellers AND shoppers) is vast, nebulous and can be terribly exciting! What do we mean by this?
FOLKS DESCEND on Johnson & Ellis counties right HERE in North Central Texas TWICE per year LIKE HUNGRY BUZZARDS!
