Makenzie (formerly McKown) & Cody Sparks’ on April 21, 2024 Texas wedding was such a special one for us to be part of. 💍

Every wedding looks a little different and one of the things we love most about what we do is being able to adapt our services to what each couple needs. For their celebration, Zach served as their DJ while someone else stepped in as the MC for the reception. Even with that adjustment, we were still able to work seamlessly as a team to keep the day flowing smoothly.

As their wedding coordinator, my role covered everything from leading the rehearsal, coordinating vendors, guiding the ceremony flow, managing the timeline throughout the reception, and overseeing teardown at the end of the night. A coordinator’s goal is never just setup or labor — it’s making sure every moving part of the day runs smoothly so the couple can fully relax and enjoy it.

That’s one of the advantages of hiring a husband & wife team for coordination and DJ services. Whether couples book us together or separately, we’re able to support the entire experience and keep the celebration stress-free from start to finish. ✨

We’ve officially updated our logo now featuring our tagline: “The Skye’s the limit for your memorable event!” 💙

For those who don’t know our story, our business was born in December 2021 after the sudden passing of Rebeca’s best friend, Skye McKown. Skye encouraged us for years to pursue weddings and events professionally. We had been DJing, coordinating, planning, and more on the side just for fun, never thinking anyone would actually want a husband/wife duo running their day. But Skye believed in us fully and because of her, we took the leap. Our sky blue logo and tagline are a tribute to her name, her encouragement, and her belief that we were meant to do this.

While we haven’t always shared every wedding or event here on socials, we’ve been busy behind the scenes and are incredibly grateful for every couple, client, and family who has trusted us over the years. Exciting things are coming… stay tuned! 💍✨
