Its my 12th Mother’s Day at Open Air Designs 💖💖💖 I love memories like these! 🫶🏽 Here’s a proud Momma post for Mothers Day from your florist 💖💐
My two oldest boys’ first day in a flower shop was spent in a play pen when I managed my mom’s shop, Baskets & Blooms in Winter Haven, in 1998. I moved on to a different career path for a little while but when I bought Open Air Florist in 2014, all three of my boys jumped right in. My oldest son, Blake, worked holidays and would oversee the shop while I was on vacation. Brayden went to work full time in delivery and shop maintenance after graduation. He eventually moved on to another career path just as Braxton reached the age to step in. And today Brax manages most aspects of daily operations while working another job. A few years back, when Brayden brought Kindell to our lives she jumped in to learn the ropes!
I am a grateful Mom this Mother’s Day to have had the privilege of owning a family
business and having my kids be an active part through the years!
