First day back to school, so it felt only right to drop a little behind‑the‑scenes wedding delirium.

Bloopers were never the plan, but this one hit the mark. Not sure I should be mic’ed up at all times…although the footage would be comedy gold.

And for the record, the makeup artist was just asking if I wanted a sandwich.

So needless this to say, this is every wedding vendor’s friendly reminder to take care of yourself! Eat and stay hydrated! 🫶🏼

The guests knew exactly what the bride wanted on her special day. As a classically trained dancer, her people understood the assignment and commitment was required. They showed up and rolled out. Literally. 😂

Venue tours really open up the creative process. When we visited Victoria 1883, we immediately saw multiple ways to configure the space based on the guest count we’re planning. It made the design possibilities feel wide‑open.

But also BRB… I’m also about to book a stay at that gorgeous Bed and Breakfast in New Smyrna Beach. 🤍

I would never send you home with your dad’s rosary and necklace in a tangled disaster. Absolutely not.

Listen. End‑of‑night breakdown can turn into a full hot mess express. CHOO CHOO! 🚂

But I’m big on sending my clients back with their personal items looking just as intentional as the rest of the day. That’s why every timeline I build includes a pack up plan. I double check what matters, what gets tossed, and what we guard like it’s the crown jewels. Communication is everything.

What can be tossed?

What needs to be saved?

What gets protected with dear life?

And trust me. There is no universe where those sentimental pieces leave my hands in anything less than perfect condition. ✨

I really try to keep up with the “yap” videos. It’s hard.

Keeping up with any trend is a challenge 🫠 I’ll jump on some, but I will always march to the beat of my own drum. The one thing I stay true to is my commitment to human connection. At the end of the day, a tablescape fad may fade, but how we treat one another will always pave the way in my book.

My attempt at a ten minute yap session failed and I ended up rambling about everything under the sun… LOL. Hence the reason for this reel instead of posting my yap.

Bottom line is that I could have driven myself crazy trying to edit that yap session to fit the expectations of posting, or I could just do my own thing. Honestly, I like the direction it led me anyway. 🥁
