Another day, another moment of asking myself, “What do I post to show the world who I am as a wedding planner and partner?”

Then I remember it’s not about creating the perfect piece of content.

It’s about moments like these.

The quiet support. The steady presence. The ability to step in when emotions are high and memories are being made.

I do what I do to support my couples and their families during the moments that often mean the most.

I’m no content creator, and I’m certainly no videographer. But I am an empath to my core, and caring deeply for the people I serve will always be at the heart of everything I do. 🤍

We don’t give enough credit to the grooms. Honestly, we really don’t.

Sure, not every groom is as invested in the planning process as John was, but this guy showed up and showed out.

I still remember walking into our design meeting fully expecting it to be just the ladies. (How judgmental of me. 🤦‍♀️)

Instead, John came armed with opinions, feedback, and an eye for detail. In fact, he wasn’t shy about letting us know when something felt a little off—or, as Carlos would say, “jarring!” 😂

So here’s a shoutout to the grooms who are paying attention, giving thoughtful input, and helping bring the vision to life. We see you, and honestly, wedding planning is better for it. 👏🥂

Happy 1st Anniversary to my repeat customers! 🤍

The feels are real today as I reminisce. To know Arman and Ashley is to know joy, inclusivity, and the kind of love that naturally spills over onto everyone around them. Their love for each other doesn’t stop at the two of them—it’s shared generously with every person lucky enough to be in their circle.

Having the opportunity to support them throughout their journey to “I do” was an absolute honor, and getting to celebrate their first anniversary as repeat customers makes it even sweeter. 🤍✨

It’s giving Step Brothers energy and honestly? I’m okay with it. Not the “we were losers who became siblings” part. More like the “we had some weirdly hilarious moments while planning this wedding and now I genuinely miss it” part.

That’s the part of this industry nobody talks about enough. Most wedding planning businesses aren’t corporations. They’re small teams, sometimes just a handful of humans, pouring themselves into making one couple’s day the most magical of their lives. And while that magic is happening, relationships are forming. Bonds are made.

It’s a beautiful thing. It’s also wildly hard to navigate once the event is over. When your whole business is built on connection, it’s a hard pill to swallow when the constant texts and calls just... stop.

When you’re an empath doing empath things, goodbyes are tough. But that’s exactly what shows how much we care about your day.

Support looks different for everyone.

I just saw a post about a planner needing support with planning. It hit me. Just because we may be considered the expert in a field doesn’t mean we won’t ever need support.

I fell into this industry by accident. I watched a couple scramble to get things set up on the day of their wedding, and I stepped in. The rest is history.

Since then, I show up every day to support my couples. Now that support extends to my fellow vendors too. Nothing warms my heart more.

Let’s brainstorm together. Maybe you’re planning your own wedding. Maybe you’re supporting a couple through theirs. Either way: what are the ways we can support one another? A specific task. A shift in industry standards. Anything counts.
