Networking as a solopreneur wedding planner can feel like stepping out of the bubble you work in and finally remembering you’re not actually doing this alone. These events give me space to connect, breathe, laugh, swap stories, and feel a little less isolated in an industry that asks a lot from one person. Being around planners who understand the pace and the pressure keeps me grounded and thriving.

I never thought I’d say this, but I have to thank the robot for this connection 🤖🙏🏼

One of the first things I ask on a connection call is how someone found Timely Ties. Most of my couples come from referrals, which I love, but Aundrea actually found me through ChatGPT. That ended up becoming one of our running jokes the whole time we worked together: defer to the robot! 😂

But it’s not really about the robot, even though I’m grateful to the SEO Gods I didn’t intentionally set up. It’s about connection. From the very beginning of my time in this industry, I learned what my strengths were. I connect with people and I thrive in the middle of logistics that look impossible.

When Aundrea sent me this picture with the words “my love for you captured here,” my heart melted. That’s the mission. That’s the win. Cheers to new friends and the sweetest full circle moments!

People ask me all the time who my ideal clients are and the answer is easy: the ones who think outside the box.

Originality is my love language. When a client brings me an idea that doesn’t fit the mold, I light up and immediately start figuring out how to bring it to life.

From grabbing thrifted shot glasses for a father and daughter moment to transforming a restaurant into a full wedding‑day wonderland, I’m all about helping my clients make the magic happen. 🫶🏼

Vulnerability post! 🥹

It never fails. Every time I wrap up a wedding, the post‑event blues hit. We warn couples about it, but we feel it too.

Weddings are intimate. Two humans are getting MARRIED. We are celebrating LOVE. As a couple’s planner, we get to know each other so well that the final goodbye always feels heavier than expected. This photo is a perfect example. It represents a whole chain of referrals from some of the best humans. Referrals are perfect because good people usually bring more good people. That is exactly why I had no hesitation jumping in with Becca and Steven at Rachel and Pat’s wedding, especially after FaceTiming Mary and John, and striking a pose that made absolutely no sense but felt right in the moment.

Even yesterday my couple said, “let mama bear jump in,” and honestly that made my whole day. Yes, this is a business, but it is also a relationship, a trust, a bond.

So to my fellow planners, do the post‑event blues hit you too or am I just too emotional, and to my clients past, current, and future, thank you for choosing Timely Ties. 🤍

From the romantic florals and glowing candlelight to the laughter, music, and love shared under the stars, every detail came together so beautifully. Centered beneath our Love Tree 🌳❤️, the courtyard became the perfect backdrop for such an intimate and unforgettable celebration.
It truly felt like stepping into a movie scene — fitting for a place featured in the Hallmark movie A Taste of Love 🎬✨ The charm, romance, and beauty of the evening could not have been more perfect.
Watching our Old Florida space transform for these special moments reminds us why we love hosting weddings and celebrations so much.

But the mission was accomplished! 💪🏼

Where there’s a will there’s a way. I am honestly embarrassed at how close I came to being defeated by a bottle of red wine. I don’t even drink red wine, yet somehow I was out here fighting for my life like it was my signature beverage. I’m laughing now but in the moment I was fully negotiating with the universe to release my hand. 😂🫣
