From the tearful first look with Emma’s dad, to the lakeside “I do,” to the friends who celebrated with laughter, board games, and one of the best group hugs I’ve ever photographed—Ryan & Emma’s wedding was overflowing with heart.

Knotted Roots on the Lake gave them the perfect backdrop: moss-draped trees, quiet water, soft winter light, and a ceremony aisle lined with their closest people. Every moment felt personal, grounded, and completely theirs.

Last night’s wedding at Knotted Roots on the Lake was pure magic.
Golden light through the moss, a lakeside breeze, and two families coming together in the most heartfelt way — it all came together for Mr. & Mrs. Adams.

From the quiet moments before the ceremony…
to the walk down the aisle…
to the first kiss surrounded by cheers…
to the dance floor lighting up under the bistro lights — every part of their day felt intentional, emotional, and full of life.

Their boys walking mom down the aisle, the groom’s reaction, the way the entire crowd leaned in during the vows, the laughter at the bar, the hugs, the twirls, the good-natured chaos on the dance floor — this was a celebration no one will forget.
