Before this space became the home of Kathman Studios, I walked through the entire building to inspect it, document everything that needed to be fixed, and decide if I was really ready to sign the lease.
In this video, I’m talking through the decision with Karen, showing you the empty space for the first time, and marking everything that needed attention before I could begin turning it into the creative studio I had imagined.

This is the very beginning of transforming an empty industrial space into a studio for content, video, photography, podcasts, creators, and everything we build here next.

Your content strategy goal should be simple: Make content people actually WANT to watch, read, or listen to. That’s it. That one shift can completely change your marketing and advertising strategy and, if you do it consistently over time, can dramatically grow your business.

Most small businesses I talk to are struggling with marketing online because all they’re doing is promoting themselves.

Would you follow a page that only posted sales, discount codes, new menu items, new listings, and offers? Those posts matter, but they should probably make up 10–20% of your content, not 90%.

The rest should be content people actually want to watch, read, or listen to. Better yet, make content your ideal customer wants to consume.

That one shift can completely change your marketing strategy and your business. If you want to know how, send me a DM.

Those weren’t just videos, they became content they can keep posting organically or turn into ads for the Tampa water taxi. Start thinking differently about the content you’re creating.
