Last night we had the pleasure of seeing HER with Imagine Dragons and Chris Stapleton FREE from a donor at Vettix. Not only did we receive free tickets but they were $100 seats. Oh wait I forgot to mention we also got free hats and koozies as well. So amazing! There were salutes to all branches of service as well as the Army band that played all of the military songs before the concerts began. Count it off with me.
1. U.S. Army Band played my “National Anthem” and all the various military branch songs. Thanks for that.
2. H.E.R. Wowed us with her multiple gifts. Imagine a female that has all the talents of Prince. She played every instrument and sang like nobody’s business. The guitar solos were phenomenal the stagework was tasteful and interactive. Thanks for that.
3. Imagine Dragons popped on stage and thanked us for being there then put on a tremendous show with stamina. I couldn’t help but sing along. I also felt sorry for the people holding their phones instead positively vibe-ing with this amazing performance. I mean wow. I swear nothing but love and positivity from this amazing band. Thanks for that.
4. Chris Stapleton came out and I paraphrase. I’m not going to be talking a lot so I can play more music. He shuffled so many beautiful guitars but I, of course, being an acoustic guy, could have listened to that amazing Gibson acoustic all night long. Also for you fellow musicians Chris played “Free Bird” so all you musicians need to suck it up and play that for your crowd. You don’t have to play it for 15 minutes but they wanna hear it. Thanks for that.
All in all I had the most peaceful and beautiful time with Chiquita and several other people we met and “hung” with at this show not least or best Three Brothers Pizza owners had a laugh and chilled with us all night, what great people.
Thanks again for this event it was amazing.
