Long post alert!
On August 17 and 18th we hosted the 2nd annual Evans Events donation golf tournament for Stuff The Bus CNY. Last year we had 20 teams golf on one day, and I was able to buy just over $1,000 worth of toys to donate. This year because all of you we hosted a 2 day golf tournament with 20 teams each day. 160 golfers all brought a toy to donate at the registration, and at the end of the event we have $5,000 dollars to donate to help buy local children Christmas presents this holiday season!
Sauquoit Knolls Golf Club Stevie you and your family are amazing. Countless hours getting the course prepared after a weekend of wind and storm damage. The course was beautiful and the food is always delicious. Without all of your help from March till the day after the event, none of this is possible.
Mastrovito Hyundai Frank, thank you to you and your team for donating the car, and setting up the hole in one hole.
Kelly Leuthauser Kelly, I can’t thank you enough for everything you do. There’s not enough time to plan these events without forgetting something. You are always there to have everything set up and make sure everything is perfect.
Family and friends I’m forever thankful. Working the bars on the course, making thousands of jello shots and running around picking up donations a month before the event.
To all of the businesses that donated door prizes and sponsored holes, I can’t say thank you enough! Remember, shop local!!
Everyone that golfed, and braved the weather on Sunday you guys are the reason this event happens!
This community always comes together, and this just continues to prove that. Thank you everyone once again for helping put smiles on lots of children’s faces this year!
