Meet Ainsley.

She's one of my Senior Brand Icons, and truly one of my favorite human beings on the planet. Ainsley is a Corinth Holders High School senior, a member of the CHHS dance team, a super active DECA member, AND she's running the entire Corinth Holders pageant this year. The whole thing. (Is there anything this girl can't do?!)

She is fun, bubbly, and honest. She's loyal, friendly, and genuinely hilarious. And her senior session was 100% HER.

We hit three locations with three different looks:

**Downtown Raleigh:** in an outfit that, believe it or not, came from Walmart. Proof that it's never about the price tag. It's about the girl wearing it.

**The North Carolina Museum of Art:** in a gorgeous dress straight from the Aimee Sue Photography Style Closet.

**The Clayton Taco Bell (Archer Lodge area):** because every great senior session deserves a snack break. She ordered ahead, and we had the best time inside and out, even when the rain rolled in. Some of my favorite frames of the whole day came from this stop.

Here's the thing about senior year: it flies by. Every senior has a personality, a story, and a whole list of things that make them who they are. Their photos should feel like them, whether that's a museum, a city street, or their favorite drive-thru.

September is my favorite month (personally) for senior photos just because I love the greenery but cooler temperatures. I am such a sucker for flowers so I love fall, but saying goodbye to flowers is always sad for me. What about you guys? Are you team September or October for senior photos?

Meet Blakely, a senior at Cleveland High School and one of the girls on our Aimee Sue Photography brand icon team.

For her senior mini at Fort Fisher, we headed straight for the water, and let's just say the waves had other plans. Blakely kept right on modeling, hair whipping, dress soaked, waves genuinely trying to knock her down, and she never lost her rhythm once. She was so excited for this session, and it showed in every single frame.

We are so proud of this girl. Good luck at your softball tournament this weekend, Blakely, and here's to an amazing first day of senior year coming up. Cannot wait to watch this year unfold for you.
