Would you like to take a pic in the wildflowers next Sunday ?

Current view from the parking area. Can’t see all the shorter bright colored flowers in the meadow from here - white, pink, fascia & red Sweet William, pink Foxglove, red& yellow Blanketflower, first year fascia & coral Peonies, orange Poppies, white primrose, and every color of Cosmos happening while they’re 4-6 inches tall will continue through frost up to 5 feet tall! So many more that are growing including zinnia, baby’s breath, evening primrose, black-eyed susans, sunflowers and so may more since I can’t remember everything I planted 😂

Come join us for our Pop-Up Market next Sunday 11-4 for Mother’s Day where vendors will be set up along the path and across the lawn under Maggie ! Take a pic in the wildflowers, reserve a spot for brunch, or simply enjoy the weather with us and your favorite speciality coffee or glass of wine.

Hi everyone!

Our neighbor is sadly selling his lot next to us- Thought I’d share to help out!

Would love to see a complimentary business to ours go in!
There’s so many ideas of how we could collaborate !

It’s 1.5 acres and he’s done some work to it already ( cleared, septic permit for (3) bedroom, planted trees). It’s also surrounded by wooded area on (2) full sides.

I believe he’s negotiable ? A recent post was asking 180k but taking offers! Our process of getting rezoned was pretty quick and easy.

It’s an excellent spot !

Especially with our intimate guest counts!

If you’ve seen it once, you’ve seen it a million times! Book your vendors RIGHT NOW because there are going to be a trillion wedding this year when in 2023 there was a trillion and one weddings. Trust me, there are plenty of vendors to make sure your day is all you want and more.
•
Here is an example. Yesterday, I reached out to 5 of my preferred florists to confirm availability for a Saturday wedding this Fall (before I show their work to my client). So far 4 of those 5 have confirmed they are available and I’m awaiting confirmation from the 5th. One of the best videographers I’ve work with is also available for that same date.
•
As a planner, it frustrates me that SO many vendors have posted or shared these tactics. If you’re a 2024 or 2025 couple, tune out the noise telling you should have every vendor booked by now. As much as I don’t want you to wait until the last minute, you also don’t have to have it all figured out right now!
•

Hello from the Lendermans! 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼

We’re a crazy duo with Haley the owner who’s the detail oriented, planning extraordinaire. And Leslie the volunteer gardener, and creative.

Anyone who’s been around knows we can’t be more different, but it makes for some solid decisions when we’re duking it out. 🙃

As spicy as it is around here ,
it ends up being a great combo. That’s how most Lendermans roll so we’re following tradition 😝

When it comes to you all?? The spicy is in all the amazing details we’re serving- we love you all so much!!

2023 was an amazing, difficult, extraordinary and stressful year!

Half the year was Events and the other half was still renovating! We were juggling between all of you with ramps, driveways, landscaping, walkways, so much!

Some of our couples are visiting for the first time in a long while and can’t believe the difference when they loved it before! We’re so proud!!

Come visit us for that get-together you’ve been thing about! We can help you handle all those food & drink requests, decor, cleanup - we kinda do it all. We’re not all weddings ya know!

Here was our very difficult criteria to narrow this down!

…a PORCH! True story
Let’s talk porch …
1200 sf is bigger than our first home in Michigan. Way bigger. I dreamed of this porch.
My 30 yr. bucket-list item (yes clearly this is Leslie) was to renovate an old beat-up farmhouse with an enormous front porch.
Except I had envisioned it yellow…
But as I grew this vision I knew we had to keep to the history of whatever house we chose.
I didn’t know when, where, with who, and all the details of this long-awaited Reno. I just “knew”
And here she is- Marilyn. Lovingly named by Haley in the dark, super cold 1980 wallpapered hallway in Feb 2021. Full of a National Geographic collection, antique furniture and a little a little a little Lady Bug 😉
Haley made my dream come true when she hopped on board with then idea during our Covid quarantine. And then Dad couldn’t help but be there for HER 😂
And off we went in search of an old dilapidated house…
