More prom ✨️💃 custom specials are coming in!!

This time, the floral brief was all about burgundy and cream. Plus, the moms were thought of, and this is just the sweetest 🫶!

Not only did this lucky gal get a floral corsage, but her date & his family made sure her mom also got flowers 💐 too ☺️. Now that is setting up a prom date, right 🌟

It's 'Customer Appreciation Day' for our friends at in St. Clair Shores today, Friday, May 16th 🧋

Shores Nutrition will be featuring several vendors and small biz's like Heather's Victory Gardens for their customers today, so if you are in the area and are thirsty post/pre-workout or just because life is hectic and you want something healthy to fuel you up - pop in to Shores Nutrition and check out the other small businesses like HVG today! 💐

We have been so busy in the Victory Gardens that we almost forgot to post about one of our busiest weekends of the year!!

MOTHER'S DAY!! 💕💐💕

Mother's Day truly kicks off our growing season here at Heather's Victory Gardens 💐

All of our seedlings 🌱 are being planted out this month, while the spring perennials and cool weather florals are being harvested for the start of the newest flower season (here we go!!! 💐✨️)

For this most special weekend, we will be selling Mother's Day Tulip 🌷Mixed arrangements (offered in several different shades) for pick-up or delivery within a 25-mile radius of Clawson, MI

Prom season is here ✨️

Yesterday, we had great fun hosting our local Daisy Girl Scout troop in earning their petal badge for "Using Resources Wisely." ☘️

We started with a chat on how communities have used Victory Gardens in times of need when local food resources were limited or rationed (and had to be used wisely). Then we took a tour of the gardens, and we talked about rain gardens and using drip water systems to use water resources wisely.

Then for our project we used recycled plastic containers (food containers, former plant containers, etc) that had been sterilized, to pot up organically grown tomato and marigold seedlings that each Daisy scout got to take home 🍅🏵

We will also designate a victory garden plot to their daisy troop 🌼 in the front yard garden and plant out a few of their marigold and tomato starts for the community. The Daisy's can come and check on their 🍅❤️🏵 throughout the growing season ✨️🌱🌞

Are you in need of a palate cleanser on your feed? Well, do I have the SWEETEST 💜 corsages for the tiniest dancers to share with you (the tulle 😍) 🌸

I had the pleasure of designing these adorable wrist corsages for a hometown daddy-daughter dance this weekend 💞

I'm used to designing for weddings & well, for grown-ups, so being a momma & an auntie myself, I knew I had to improvise to make these corsages work on much smaller models. I needed options. So these designs have 3! 💕

1. Elastic
2. Chiffon tie
3. Combo of both for extra security (for our high energy models 😊)

The dried floral used has such a unique & fun texture that you don't normally find when ordering a corsage. Dried floral doesn't wilt, and if not damaged with wear, it can be easily preserved or reworn over and over. Oh, and the dried strawflowers & gomphrena flowers were all grown locally, here in Clawson, MI at Heather's Victory Gardens 💐

I had to wait a few days to post this because this blue beauty 😍 💙💐 was designed for a Detroit Lions part-ay and we have been in mourning here in the D...💙🦁🏈🤍

Our beloved Lions didn't win 😢, but we found a 'Honolulu Blue' floral winner with some crafty spray painting teamed with blue hydrangea, silver dollar eucalyptus, + more that brought major plays!

Blue is oh so hard to find naturally in flowers, let alone 'Honolulu Blue' in January, but we LOVED this challenge, and of course, we LOVE all things Detroit 🫶💙🦁🏈🤍
