The second time around, the potato rolls came out even better! Lighter and fluffier inside and more golden brown on the outside. This recipe is a definite keeper and you can expect these rolls in the food truck for sure. We still have a lot to do on that front but we're getting closer to launching every day!

Happy 420! Of course we did some baking today, although we can only show you the one kind. Kira tried out a new recipe for potato rolls, and they came out really well so Clint decided dinner was going to be in sandwich form.

Some of you might recall that for several years now, Kira has been running a home-based bakery business called "Kira Bakes for you," making all kinds of sweet treats. As Elevated Gatherings grows and expands for 2026 (did you hear we bought a food truck?) we've realized running two businesses is crazy. Come on, running one business is crazy! With that, we are (at least for the foreseeable future) retiring the Kira Bakes brand and moving all baking operations under Elevated Gatherings.

When you have a craving for a sweet treat, we're still going to be here for you, and with our business expansion, expect even more ways to get your hands on stuff like this. Whether it's dessert for your event, a package of cookies purchased from us when we're out and about, or drop-off catering with platters of cookies and brownies, all of the sweet goodies you've come to expect from Kira will be ready when you want them.

It was so cold today that we just had to have some warm comfort food for dinner tonight. Clint whipped up these individual chicken pot pies, topped with mashed potatoes. Nothing warms you up on a cold day like a hearty pot pie and these hit the spot for sure!

Sometimes we just get so excited to own a food business that we cook dinner in our home kitchen in a chef's uniform!

(Seriously, Clint just bought this shirt and hadn't taken it off after trying it on. Kira saw an opportunity for some humorous social content and here we are.)

Every day is a tug-of-war between life, business, and so many competing demands. Oh and did we mention we are almost ready to make an announcement about what we're doing next? You'll have to wait for that but there are a couple of clues in the latest episode of Kira's Elevated Life. Link in bio!

It's almost time for the and as fans of el conejo malo we are here for it! It's a cold one here in the Hudson Valley so we decided to go with a big pot of chili that we'll be serving over some creamy, melty, three cheese macaroni and cheese.

For some reason a person of color performing in Spanish turned into a political matter so for anyone who has any doubt, let us be clear about a few things.

Not all Americans are English speaking white people.
We are a country of immigrants and every English speaking white person in this country either is an immigrant or is descended from immigrants.

We have some thoughts on who it is that doesn't belong here and, well, let's just say hardworking people who want a chance to achieve their dreams aren't the target we have in mind.

We all make mistakes and sometimes we're just running away from one and hoping we're not running directly into another one.
