Looking forward to returning to Carmel Elementary on March 18th to DJ their “Light Up the Night” event. I am SUPER excited because I love this school oh so much! Last year the dance was virtual but this year we will be LIVE AND IN PERSON! I can’t wait to see these kiddos again and create a dance party of a life time. It will be good to be back! Carmel Colts… be prepared to dance ALL NIGHT LONG!💃🎶🎧🎤

This was a great day at my all time favorite venue. If you live in Middle TN and getting married, Westfalia Farms is the place to be! The folks that own this venue are top notch and so welcoming. They have referred me several times and their clients are as awesome as they are❤️. Dylan and Lydia were such a fun couple and had a great guest list. They were all there to celebrate this wonderful couple and they danced all night long. Here are some photos of the venue and this crazy wonderful crowd!

A little late posting but this was from my October 2nd wedding😉.

I usually take a couple of pictures of people dancing on the dance floor at my weddings but honestly I never seem to get any good shots so I decided to do something a little different this time. At the end of the party I asked if the remaining guests (aka “the party animals”) wouldn’t mind taking a couple of pictures with me and they didn’t hesitate. This was a fun group and a great wedding! I have to say I was so nervous going into this wedding. Covid had put a big damper on booking events and this was my first wedding in a year and four months. I just wanted it to be perfect and perfect it was❤️. As the bride walked down the aisle my watch notified me that my heart beat was at an exceptionally high rate than normal. I had never had that happen before and as soon as I saw it, I had to stop for a moment and take a deep breath. The desire to make everything special just threw my heart rate into overdrive. It was worth every heartbeat. Thank you Leah and Bryant for allowing me to be part of your special day. PS, Leah is a teacher at the girls elementary school. Still a little attached to Carmel💕.

Just another fun day at the office! I had the honor of presenting to the 4th graders at Carmel Elementary on how to create great sound in a theater. I even used The Silent DJ Headphones. It was such a great day! If you are interested in having a sound presentation at your school just PM me! We can make it happen!

Last week I did a sound presentation for the 2nd graders at Carmel Elementary. It was a great day! My task at hand was to teach how sound works. I knew the best way to explain this was to make it visual. Sooo, first we made a human sound wave and it was totally cool! We also talked about how volume and pitch worked by using my trusty DJ system and it was the perfect way to have their undivided attention😊. I love that these wonderful teachers are educating our students on life necessities (like sound) that I surely didn't learn about when I was in second grade and just took it for granted. I now have two sound presentations in my collection. This particular one for 2nd graders on explaining sound and a presentation for 4th graders on the effects of sound in different kinds of rooms. Hello Clarksville Peeps! I'm a Girl DJ, Clarksville TN will be DJing Carmel Elementary's Fall Festival this Saturday afternoon October 26th from 3PM to 6PM. This is a great event for the whole family! So come join us😊. We will be there rain or shine. I'll be playing great music for all ages and we will have a lot of fun games too. Not to mention some great food trucks, inflatables and laser tag! See you on Saturday!!!

Come to the grand opening of Marshalls tomorrow starting at 8AM. There will be lots of prizes to be given away! 2300 Madison Street. I wanted to take a picture today while setting up but its top secret until tomorrow when the doors open. Let me just say the store looks fabulous! I will be playing music all day long! See you then!
