⚠️ Road Closure at Lapping Park ⚠️

The road going into Lapping Park is currently closed due to a large tree branch hanging down and blocking the roadway. Crews will be working to get it cleaned up as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to safely reopen the area. 🌳🚧

🚨 We’re officially ONE WEEK OUT! 🌙🦋

Next Friday, Purdue Entomology will be at Lapping Park for *Insects in a New Light* — a free after-dark experience where visitors can watch nighttime insects gather at blacklight stations.

And now there’s even more to explore 👀

Purdue Entomology has created an iNaturalist project so visitors can record and share the insects they see during the event!

📲 Join the project here:

New to iNaturalist? No worries — they have great guides to help you get started.
