A butterfly first birthday 🦋

This install was extra special to me.
Not only was this for a sweet girl I graduated high school with, but we also share a similar story - we have both lost infant babies far too soon.
There’s just a different kind of connection when you know someone understands that kind of loss - the kind of loss that changes you forever. Our babies may not be here with us, but they will always be a part of our stories and will always be loved.
Her sweet rainbow baby celebrated her FIRST birthday on National Rainbow Baby Day with a garden tea party, which made this install feel even more special. After losing a baby, you look at rainbow babies a little differently. They are such a beautiful reminder that even after something so heartbreaking, there can still be so much joy and love.

Happy 1st birthday, sweet Gwen! I hope you always know just how loved you are 🫖💕
