Love is not gentle. It is fire. It does not sit quietly in the corner of our lives; it burns, it consumes, it transforms. Like fire, it can warm us in the cold and light our darkest paths, but it can also demand courage, for it changes everything it touches.

The lesson is simple: do not fear the fire. Step into it. Let it shape you, let it strip away what no longer serves you, and let it reveal the strength of your soul.

I'm finally in an industry that's always appealed to me. Since I was a child this is something I wanted to do. The last few weeks have been very intense as I ran on fumes and coffee. The training hours have been so brutal that it has left time for virtually nothing else, but I did it. Last night, I realized it's been far too long since I've been proud of myself or happy that I'd accomplished something of importance. With that being said I'm proud of this accomplishment. Now my life takes me from one end of the country to the other. In a way, it's like getting paid to travel and visit our country and I couldn't be happier. Wherever I lay my head is home and I fully embrace the gypsy world beyond. This whole year has been a reflectionate process. It's hard to see the forest for the tress when the winds of change shatter you preceived understanding. It's hard to see let alone embrace the change you must make in order to find happiness, stability and security. Its tough to reach a decision to start fresh when your livelyhood has been made the same way since before you were a legal adult. Until the realization hit me, I could never imagine myself in any other industry other than construction yet as you close one door, another unlocks if you are willing to dig deep and fight a sometimes scary battle. Now I'm fully ready to embrace a secure and prosperous path without constant second guessing. I can't reflect on this without thanking the one person who had my back like nobody ever has. She has consistently pushed me forward when the days have been long and the nights are neverending. Thank you Amber for being my rock, my shelter and peace while the storm raged. You mean more than mere words will ever honesty define...
