🌸💜 A Little Late to the Party… But Worth the Wait! 💜🌸
Well, we have a couple of late bloomers who finally decided to show up! 😂 Better late than never, right?
These beauties were actually grown for a wedding, but they didn't quite make their grand entrance in time. Thankfully, we had plenty of other gorgeous purples to fill the gaps!
We're hoping for LOTS of tubers from these two because their colors are absolutely stunning, and we definitely want more of them next year!
We're not sure if their late arrival was due to acclimating to our area or because we kept them separated in pots while they grew. We are extremely careful when introducing new varieties to our field. Keeping our dahlias healthy and disease-free is so important to us!
Last year, we had to remove a couple of plants due to disease concerns. We even removed and replaced the surrounding soil and thoroughly sanitized our tools and tractor to help prevent anything from spreading. It's a lot of extra work, but protecting our field is worth every bit of it! 💚
Now, without further ado, please welcome Mr. Jimmy and Hello Dahlia! 💜🌸
🌸 Hello Dahlia – A newer variety introduced in 2022, and what a beauty she is! She's an informal decorative dahlia with glowing magenta blooms that gradually age into a gorgeous hot pink. Her blooms reach around 6 inches across, and she's definitely a keeper!
💜 Mr. Jimmy – Oh, this handsome fella! A smaller formal decorative dahlia with rich, saturated purple and plum tones. He's one of our true purples, and that color is absolutely gorgeous!
And guess what? We still have TWO more varieties getting ready to bloom for the very first time! As soon as they make their appearance, you know I'll be sharing them with you! 😍
🌸 Our flower stand will continue to be stocked through November, or until Mother Nature decides to freeze us out! 🍂
We feel incredibly blessed to still have so many beautiful blooms this late in the season. Every extra day in the flower field is a gift, and we love getting to share these beauties with all of you!

What an emotional and beautiful morning! 🤍💍
I've been busy cutting fresh dahlias and creating bouquets, all while trying my best to stay focused because TODAY MY SON IS GETTING MARRIED!! 🥹❤️
My heart is overflowing with so much joy, love, and pride. Kyle has chosen such a beautiful soul, inside and out, and I couldn't be happier to welcome Brooke into our family. I already love her like my own daughter. ❤️
I wanted her wedding bouquet to be everything she dreamed of, so naturally, I made her TWO options! 😆 Both were created with so much love, using the colors she wanted and flowers grown right here in our field. There's something incredibly special about being able to create these for such an important day in their lives.
Now it's time to put down the flowers, get myself ready, and make that two-hour drive! Praying for safe travels for these bouquet heading to the wedding.
Today they get to celebrate their love surrounded by the people who mean the most to them, and this mama's heart couldn't be fuller! 🥹❤️

I am so thankful our flower field survived that cold snap without any damage! Everything is still looking beautiful, and these late bloomers are putting on quite the show!
💕 Crazy Love – Oh, this girl tests my patience EVERY year! 😂 Just when I think I'm going to remove her from the field, she decides to show off and remind me why I fell in love with her! She's finally out of her wonky stage, and her beautiful white petals edged in lavender and purple are absolutely gorgeous. I guess patience really does pay off!
🤍 Snoho Doris – Such a romantic little beauty! Her perfectly rounded ball-shaped blooms are filled with soft lavender-pink and pearly white petals. She is absolutely dreamy and would be stunning in a bridal bouquet!
❤️ Mingus Alex – WOW, that color!! This dinnerplate dahlia knows how to make an entrance! Deep, velvety burgundy-red petals with a slightly ruffled, explosive appearance. She's bold, dramatic, and impossible to ignore!
🍷💛 BQ Mojo – Oh, how I have waited for this one! I honestly didn't think she would bloom before our season ended, but she surprised me THIS morning! And there are plenty more buds getting ready to burst! She's a color-shifting beauty with rich burgundy petals tipped in glowing gold. The contrast is absolutely breathtaking! Definitely a KEEPER!
Every time I think the field has shown me all its surprises, another beauty opens up! 🥰
I'm just over here soaking up every last bit of this dahlia season and hoping Mother Nature gives us a little more time!

🌸💐 A little time in my happy place today! 💐🌸
I spent some time playing in my flower field today, cutting armfuls of beautiful dahlias just in case this dip in temperature decides to cause some trouble! 🥶
I think they'll be just fine, especially since they survived even colder temperatures last year. But just in case, I wanted to soak up every bit of color and capture all this beauty while I can. ❤️
And would you believe I didn't even make a dent in the field?! 😆 I'm praying we get at least two more weeks of these gorgeous blooms!
As I walked through the rows today, I couldn't help but feel incredibly blessed. All these colors, all these flowers, and the opportunity to share something I love so much with all of you.
Because at the end of the day, the biggest reason I grow flowers isn't just for their beauty. It's the joy they bring to others. 🥹❤️
Seeing someone's face light up when they receive a bouquet, knowing those flowers might brighten a difficult day or simply make someone smile... THAT is what makes every long hour, every dirty fingernail, every aching muscle, and every sleepless night worth it.
I truly pour my heart into this little flower farm, and being able to share it with all of you is such a gift.

I thought I'd show off just a few of the gorgeous red dahlias growing in our field!
From those big, showstopping dinnerplate dahlias to the smaller, charming varieties, there's something so beautiful about each one! ❤️
Every year, we add more varieties to our collection, giving us even more colors, shapes, and sizes to choose from.
I absolutely LOVE those deep, rich, velvety reds, but we also grow some stunning brighter shades that really make a statement!

🌸 Clearview Peachy is like a kaleidoscope of colors! 🌸
Oh, this girl takes my breath away! 😍 The way her colors blend together is absolutely stunning! Smoky peach, soft salmon, coral, lavender, purple, and even pops of hot pink and orange. It's like a little explosion of color all wrapped up in one beautiful dahlia!
Clearview Peachy is a ball-form dahlia with blooms ranging from 3.5 to 5 inches across. What's so fascinating about her is how her colors can shift with the temperatures, making each bloom a little different from the next.
📹 I added a video because pictures just don't do her justice! You really need to see all those gorgeous colors from every angle!

Move over, ladies… Bracken Sarah has entered the bouquet! 💃🌼
This girl doesn't believe in blending into the background! With her big, beautiful blooms, she's here to make a statement, and boy, does she know how to turn heads! 😍
Put her in a bouquet, and suddenly all eyes are on HER! She's the ultimate focal flower, bringing that extra WOW factor wherever she goes.
✨ Classification: Formal Decorative (FD)
🎨 Color: A dreamy, glowing mix of golden yellow, buttery cream, soft peach, apricot, and cantaloupe. And those petals? They curl backward like she's showing off her fabulous hairstyle!
🌸 Bloom Size: A whopping 4.5–8 inches across, usually around 6 inches of pure gorgeousness!

🌸 Three more beauties are making their grand debut! 🌸
We sure have some late bloomers this year! These three are opening for the very first time, and I still have about five more varieties with buds getting ready to show off! 😍
🌸 Valley Porcupine – One of my new favorites from last year! Her unique, pointy, quill-like petals and beautiful coloring make her such a standout. She's classified as a novelty fully double dahlia, and she's just the cutest little thing!
🧡 A La Mode – A gorgeous bicolor formal decorative dahlia with 4–6 inch blooms. Her peachy-orange petals tipped in white are always such a pretty sight! And once this girl gets going, she blooms like crazy!
🖤 Shadow Cat – Dark, moody, and mysterious! This formal decorative beauty is new to our field this year and can be hard to find. She's one of the darkest dahlias we grow, and I am so excited to finally see her bloom!
Even this late in the season, the field is still full of surprises! I'm just hoping Mother Nature gives us plenty more time before that first hard frost! 🤞🍂

💜 Hemisphere Dahlia 💜
This beauty is definitely an eye-catcher! 😍 Hemisphere is a decorative, waterlily-style dahlia with stunning 4–5½ inch blooms in shades of magenta, deep fuchsia, and reddish-purple, accented with delicate white tips, streaks, and veining.
What makes her so special is that no two blooms are exactly alike! Each one has its own unique pattern. Growing 3–4 feet tall, she's a gorgeous addition to our field!
