About the Owner: Tiffany Malena

I’ve been dancing since the age of 2-1/2 and it has gone from a past-time, to a passion, to a career. I began teaching dance classes in high school and my own studio, “Steps at Tiffany’s” was born in July of 2007. In December 2007, I graduated from Wayne State College with majors in Business Management and Human Resource Management. I do all of the teaching, chore

ography, and costuming for Steps at Tiffany’s. My classes are combination classes in that your dancer does not have to choose one form of dance, but learns a variety of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop throughout the lessons. My goals in owning my studio are to continuously create a positive atmosphere where all of my dancers not only learn dance, but also gain confidence, grace, and poise. I love what I do, and do what I love and feel so blessed to share the gift of dance. �

When I’m not dancing, you’ll find me with my husband Sean of 13 years who supports me every step of the way; our little ballerinas: Emery (9) and Everly (5); and the future curtain puller: Creed (2). Thanks for stopping by!

💎RECITAL #19 - Be a Gem - Shine Bright 💎 The front view! To sum up both recitals in the max 80 photos was a hard task!! My heart is so full! Thank you to each and every dancer for an amazing Season and Recital #19! Every group SHINED on stage and danced BOLD! Proud of each dancer is an understatement. 💖 So much LOVE!

Out of the abundance of caution and the forecasted weather arriving, the recital will begin at 2:00pm today. This will allow the recital to be over and complete before weather is forecasted to move in the area. Doors will open at 1pm. Please spread the word!

☀️ 💎 {Be a Gem - Shine Bright} 💎 ☀️ Recital #19 - day 1 is in the books and my heart is so full!! 💖 Here’s the backstage version that my stage managers captured! So many little details and things happening backstage and waiting outside on deck captured. I couldn’t help but notice how the sun was shining bright in the background too. 🤩 Amazing job, dancers and can’t wait for round 2 tomorrow!! {Sunday, May 17th at 4pm - Leigh High School}

Rehearsal day 1 is in the books and oh was it sooooooo fun!!! Everyone SHINED!! 🌟 In all the excitement on stage, I missed snapping some pictures for a couple of the groups but started out strong on pictures of the kitties! 🐈‍⬛ Catch all these cuties at Recital #19 this weekend!! {Friday, May 15 @ 7pm and Sunday, May 17 @ 4pm at Leigh High School}

As graduation weekends are upon us, another congrats to my 2026 senior graduate, Sophie Morfeld! While I’m on the blasts from the past - here are some Friday flashbacks of many of the 2026 graduates that I’ve been honored to teach throughout the years!! Some are 2025 graduates in the pictures too as the classes can sometimes overlap ages. Graduates: May you always do what you love and love what you do, keep a positive attitude in every circumstance, and dance like no one is watching. 🫶🏻
